Converting my SUV into a camper: part 1
I have a very similar fan! Love the look.
Super cute!
Good job…😊
It turned out very beautiful!! Just sitting on a bed with art in a hight where you might want to put shoulders or head is the most uninviting thing ever. My recommendation to find other solutions for the feeling of needing decoration: painting the wall itself, a high shelf with some art on it....but no art in this hight. Had a lot of uncompfy visits in such a scenario.
Bolsters would be good to creat a daybed look and feel.
You did such a good job. Im so a different generation than you are but I'm also really into the dark academia, "Practical Magic", whimsical and witchy type vibe right now. I'm 50 and I really thought I had my style nailed down the past few years with the neutrals but the trends start changing and here I go again. I guess we never stop changing... Lol. Anyways I'm loving where you've taken this and your so young to understand that rushing what you want isn't what you need to do. Stylistically or financially! I still need someone to remind me of that sometimes.
It's cute and a good start. The turquoise fan and typewriter are more 60s looking so keep looking for older versions of those. Look for a darker floral duvet cover with a really dark background not white. Remember you can also pin up a sheet or duvet to the wall to experiment with a darker wall look. Ultimately paint or wallpaper eventually or a board and batten paneling.
I really enjoyed this video, I'm loving how it turned out! I'm doing a room makeover myself, wish me luck!
Great video, by the quality I thought you had hundreds of thousands subscribers. Keep making great content!! Can't wait to see more!! Good luck and have fun!!!
Have you thought about throwing a big sheet/blanket over the bed BEFORE you put the mattress on? This way it could look way cozier and you would not see the black metal :) Loooove the desk and the room! Great work!
this!!! needs a bed skirt for sure.
This looks so good! You could add a bed skirt to make the bed look more like a couch also
Hi! Such a nice surprise to come across this beautiful video 😍 love what you did with the space! An idea is to cover the white Wall behind the day bed with curtains, with the fabric you can bring darker colors and an overall antique vibe! (Don’t know if my english is good) but just lovely transformation
I wish you would lean even more into the whole dark academia-thing. Dont be afraid using dark colors on the wall or doing that whole gallery wall. More is more is definitly the way to go if you're into dark academia!
If she is renting then she may not be able to paint ....
Great video! You did a superb job on the desk and the room! Congrats & thanks for taking us along on the trip!
Is that the Manistee? Below Tippy?
It is good you aren't in California. They just banned those non-refillable propane cylinders.
Cool place for a hammock! Just discovered your channel. If you make it to the Show Low area you are welcome to camp @RidgeValleyRanch. Free, WiFi, firewood, cell service, and great views.
And NO VIDEO😢😢😢
Lovin' it!
Love it!
Not much beats a great lakes sunset
I always bring two chairs for my solo camping adventures, lol.
You two are like Hemingway. You can write about your fishing. You can video your fishing. But never divulge where you fish. You have given us clues though.
Great video! We own a house in south haven but live in Indiana. We plan to up to south manitou island next summer and walk it much like you all did. How were the bugs?
2 chairs?
Makes it look there are two people, a security thing.
SUDDENLY, A BEAR APPEARS!!!! It shouts: Only you can prevent forest fires! then disappears into the bushes....
A hammock over that stream seems so peaceful. I'd be a bump on a log there. Cheers mate!
OK, I have to ask.. No sign of a male in your new apartment, no one with you on this camping adventure, and no ring on your left hand! Has your relationship status changed and maybe that's why you were absent from YT for so long? At any rate, hope all is well in your life, and really grateful to have you back! Very nice, peaceful video. First time I've seen anyone cook and eat lunch standing in running water :) Keep up the good work! (and would gladly donate a little if you would put such an option on your page)
Not creepy at all 😒
Hi Ryan, Luv the hammock with the sound of water that looked like a relaxing space.. Thx for bringing us along, I hope there’s more! 😊 👍
Holy Cow!!! So great to have you back! Been worried, but now happy! Thank You! Now please put a link for $$$ (like buy me a coffee) so we can occasionally donate!!!
It’s been a while !! Glad you are okay. Hope to see more content ❤
I like it! It's cozy. I hope you continue making videos, the vibe is great. But you have to do what you feel is best for your life.
Dude this is amazing
Nice
If parked in that same spot many times.
Nice king!
I've been struggling with an easy cheap way to hang my front privacy curtain. Love your technique, thanks!
So wild to me that people think they are actually "fly fishing" salmon lol. steelhead will actually eat flies, salmon y'all are just flossing lmfao
Salmon do eat lol im disagreeing completely cause 99% people are but I've watched them crush flies willingly so I don't think this is a super fair statement.
I'm not* disagreeing
facts. unless you're throwing streamers you're flossing
Could you show the wood platform more up close?
May I have the location please
Pere Marquette river just west of m37 on 72nd St use Google... It's between green cabin launch an m37
Ryan... Where are you??? Hope everything's ok. Miss your videos :(
Enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing!
Would really love to see a winter camping vid. I work at a hospital and this past year they did away with our sleeper rooms during inclement weather which has caused a dilemma with us workers not having a place to stay so we can be at work. A conversion on my little SUV has definitely entered my mind during these times.
Nice and cute ❤
Great video!! I'm getting ready to do something similar with my Honda CRV for this summer. I love how you hung the curtains! Thanks for explaining that trick with the dowel rods and knots. I may try that also!
Hi Ryan 😮those curtains hanging in that VA reminds me of a Hurst the last ride,
Wish I had that cute setup right now in my red 2010 Equinox instead of sleeping crunched in back seat...but I make it work....
Cool. And u are dressed like a nice lady, unlike all the other RUclips women. Hood for u!
You have some great ideas in here - I’m gonna save this video for when I get started with my build!
do you have a cooler to store food?
