My FHS musical directing debut! It had been 7 years since helming MUSICALS after changing jobs from Arizona to Wisconsin. Thought going "dark" was a nice way to start! This was a SUPER fun show to do and what a GREAT group of kids!

Next in the line of "firsts . . . " FOUR 21 foot tall redwoods for this set! Had never built trees before and would not have been able to unless the cast committed to coming in and building over winter break!

I played Jose the Muleteer when our local theater company did this. Boy, is it a physical toll on the body!
Simply fabulous!! Too good!
Nicely done 👏👏👏👏
That turned out absolutely amazing! How was your experience working with the RT stuff? Any complications building or painting?
Thanks for the kind words. As for the RT stuff, REALLY easy to work with BUT do the pre-painting bits: sand seams, dry fit . . . just to guarantee a tight fit. Then I just primed and it was off to the races!
@@stevewilson-theatresport602 Thanks for the heads-up! Did you use the plaster or the ceramic version?
@@MikeUSA67 Have worked with both. PLEASED each way!
@@stevewilson-theatresport602 Good to know, thanks again! Are you currently working on a new project?
@@MikeUSA67 You bet - A Tiger 1 and gantry crane. Abt 508 serving in Italy. Progress has been good but slow . . . real life keeps getting in the way of completion. Once my video is done, I will post. Hopefully by the end of the summer. How about you? Any pics of projects you care to share?
Outstanding !!!
Hi Steve! Another brilliant build my friend! Your attention to detail payed a lot. Excelent research and really explanatory process! The base is also nicely done and tells the story well! Cudos to you for this creation. Looking forward for your next project, Thanks for sharing, take care and keep uo the good work my friend.
Hey - so nice to hear that! It was a REALLY fun project! Thanks again!
Excellent details 😁👌
Thanks Tim - I DO try to cut away as much as I can . . . always seemed a crime to build and detail a FULL interior and then cover it up!
Good work, however you neglected one thing, to Praise the LORD GOD Who gave you the hands and eyes, and lest we forget, the mind to comprehend and understand how to attempt this undertaking. All Praise to the Creator of All Things, even you and I.
Wow fantastic effort.
Really Excellent!!!
Wilson how have I never seen this, an artistic masterpiece
Very nice job... Impressive. But the music is really awkward...
Awesome job !!!! I felt the same way the first time I painted a camouflage on my German Focke wulf 190 …..
Very nice job. It is fun painting like this but I have to ask if this is realistic. These vehicles were kept up by their crews and their lives depended on them. Also, many of these vehicles were not in service for a long time. Crewed vehicles appear (to me) to be in great shape outside of active combat where they get banged up and dirty. The weathered ones seem to be the ones that had been knocked out, lying in a field for a long time. :( sorry
A lot of thought and hard work on this diorama, Steve and it has payed off big time. Well done.
THANK YOU, Mark - I appreciate it!
Awesome diorama Steve. Detailed work on every aspect of it. Nice story telling as well. I am really impressed by your work on the figures. Looking forward to see your next project. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Thanks SO much for the support and kind words - they are well appreciated. Already at work on the next project so keep an eye out!
@@stevewilson-theatresport602 i definitely will.
You keep doing the videos the way you want. After all this is your channel and nobody is supposed to tell you how to do stuff. Wonderful build and like every time, excellent attention to detail. I really like where this is going. Looking forward for part 2. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend.
Thanks and WILL do! Have already started the next project . . . certainly not as large as this one but exciting nonetheless!
This diorama looks fantastic . Congratulations for your impressive work . Scenery , tanks , troops and ground everything look great !
Thank you so much!
Stuff the negative stay positive your doing a great job
Hey Gary - thanks but I don't want to give you the wrong impression . . . people's issues were more with how "wordy" they are and a few commented on the length - both of which I get. But I appreciate the support all the same!
Thanks Steve, highly enjoyable to watch. Incredible level of detail. Very impressive.
Thanks SO much, I appreciate it! It was a fun project!
woww nice
It's a good inspiration for my 28mm, 1/56 project. Thank you
Real nice soundtrack, thank you
Thanks - sometimes the music clicks with viewers and sometimes it doesn't. Glad it did with you.
nice :)
great diorama
Its the Tamiya....mine still in box...good work
And I've got one to do....christ I'm too old for this shit.
I feel your pain!
👍
做的真好!我后悔只买这个车上的防空炮了
Great build & video! 👍
Do you ever put camouflage on these German vehicles, or do you prefer the heavily weathered dunklegelb with chipping?
Hey Richard - The Marder III project and the King Tiger both have camo. I am currently working on a "Two-for-One" with a Tiger (no camo) and a Berge Tiger (with). I guess it's whatever I happen to be in the mood for . . .
Thanks Steve, excellent job on an interesting, exotic vehicle. Think only 18 were built!
Absolutely brillant work . The Tank is awesome . I see how much you care the building of these video as well . Glad to discover your channel and subscribe it .
Thank you SO much! Nice to have you!
@@stevewilson-theatresport602 You are welcome . I invite you as well have a look to my channel !
Wow incredible work
Great model the only thing that could be improved is the stone bridge's sides but I couldn't do any better.
Thanks for the feedback. When I was finished with the bridge, I actually felt the same way. A few more highlights and shadows if I were to do it again . . . It's funny because this is the fourth (?) project since returning to modelling after a 28 year hiatus and I have seen my confidence and abilities getting better with each project . . . at least I THINK so.
That is one SEXY tank destroyer. Good work!! Love the cut outs.
Fantastic work on the Stug, Steve! The diorama is well done too.
THANKS Mark! It was a really fun project - lots of "firsts" for me as a model builder returning to the hobby!
Excellent build, detailing and paint. The clear panels work well. I think the officer's cap inside the tank should be painted with a black or dark green band with pink piping (armor forces).
Wow , sub and👍.
Excellently done! Build and paint details really come though. The cut-away display is perfect. I surmise you didn't contemplate the TC standing in his cupola.
Thanks for the kind words. As for the standing commander, I did. In fact, that was the project for the second day but with the layout of the turret and the massive gun, it just couldn't happen.
Wow incredible work sir
THANK YOU! It was really FUN.
Look ya stayed at it
A 35th....love how plastic imitates thick metal when cast.
I know, right!? I had been modelling up until 1991 when I took a 25 year hiatus. When I returned, WOW, the moldings had gotten LIGHT YEARS BETTER! Just fantastic the textural detail that is now included!
Thanks bud,I'm on one now
Really, great Job! Looks great. But one little thing, the shock absorber next to the driver. Why not fill it with putty. Gr
Dave - AHHHHHHH! I KNOW, I know . . . by the time I actually NOTICED it, it was too late. Trust me, every time I look at it, I think the same thing!
Fantastic work. Great King Tiger 😎👍
Great job!
Absolutely outstanding artwork!
Thanks, I appreciate that.
I have the same love for Stug III . =)
Wow, looks awesome. Excellent! Deserves far more views.
THANKS! I HAVE been told that these are a "bit" long . . . but, I tell people that these are actually for ME (with all the detail work, especially on the interiors that never sees the light of day) these videos are the only way for me to chronicle that process - hence the name change to "Video Diaries."
