Hi Nicky, According to the new 2021 European Union rules you are allowed the fly drones in urban areas that are below 250 grams. You don't need a permit for these kind of drones. You are not allowed to fly over crowds of people and you have to register your drone and add the registration number to the drone.

You don't need a permit according to the new 2021 EU regulations. The drone just needs to be less than 250 grams such as the DJI Mini 2.
