GBGV 4. Fun hunting a trail.

Temperature was 4 oc, with rising air pressure, trail was laid 25 minutes before GBGV was laid on it. Trail was Rabbit skin. Sorry for heavy breathing!

It’s an interesting breed, are you in the uk? How would you compare them to springers/ cockers for flushing?

Amazing endurance! I have a 14 week old gbgv that I would like to do hunting trials with, only problem is I know very little about training scent hounds. Should I start by laying out short trails or just let her sniff out hares and rabbits naturally when we are on a walk (we have lots of them around, but she looses interest after sniffing for about a minute)? I would be really grateful for any advice on how to get started!
