***** UPDATE ****** from viewer So I watched your video and I have a 2023 Grand Cherokee with an Altitude package. My stereo is just the 6 speaker crap system. I went to an audio shop told him about all the videos I’ve watched and I don’t want to spend $1500 on the system. He put two dash speakers that are Memphis speakers and they are 3 1/2 inch 30 W each. **** the sound it’s 40% better!!!! You don’t get a whole lot of bass but for $175 installed I can definitely live with it and not paying $1500 My only complaint would be that the $1500 system would be really nice :-)

Terrible camera angles. All we see is your backside lower half. Terrible vid. No instruction on how to remove/replace things, anytime you do talk you’re mumbling away from the camera and can barely hear you. Cmon man do better

I don’t know, but i had a 2018 charger sxt and i had subs anyways i went in and had them put some kicker 6 x 9s in my doors and the dash now i just wanted to get speakers because i only had $300 to spend but they gave me a kicker amp to so i don’t know if they did that because the stock amp would not push them good enough, but i seen guys on here install speakers in their charger with no amp kicker to so i don’t know maybe in most vehicles you do need a amp anyway sorry that didn’t work out for you. maybe next time get a amp also good luck

Pretty good video. I have an identical jeep… one thing people should also keep in mind, bad bearings will mean there’s more drag which means the electric motor will require more amps to get it going and keep it moving. Ive had bad bearings for a couple years and I just blew a fuse from over amping.

Awesome! Thank you! Mine was inadvertently pulled out in a parking lot by a t-post protruding from the ground about 8” that I didn’t see when I pulled in to the space. This tells me it’s easy to put back on!

Use the second method. I did it on my Chrysler 300 and it’s up and running.

Modern vehicles are also much more difficult to upgrade to aftermarket because the stock infotainment/radio system is heavily integrated with just about every major electrical system onboard.
