My husband and I are both artists, He loves Gouache, and I like transparent watercolor. I find gouache looks flat, LOL drives me nuts, I'm not crazy about the way it blends, compared to transparent. Is there a step or something I'm missing on that? I understand acrylic and watercolor pretty good, and have no trouble blending with those. Not so with gouache.

The bad: when I made these the dough was really sticky when it came out of my bread machine. I'll add more flour to the recipe the next time I make these rolls. The good: they taste terrific and have a wonderful texture.

Oh wow. This was 6 years ago?! I remember the metallic butterfly stickers. I kicked myself for only buying 1 pack, but I was just getting into crafting. I only found one set of the Hampton Arts stamps, but used them a lot. I was organizing my stickers last night and have a whole set of those metallic heart stickers. I dont remember if I got them back then or if they still sell them. -Kryste

The first time I tried to make rolls I took it out when it beeped the first time. They came out tasty but heavy.😮

Did you use hard white wheat? Or a mixture of white and red? Looks great.

On your website with the recipe you said the first couple times you made this it was a flop -- but you didn't say why except to hint that it had something to do with a lesson you had to learn about the lemon and the baking powder. Please share what you learned, coz otherwise I'm afraid to follow this recipe!
