Loved the point about the Cretans being liars and Paul pointing out in his intro that God wasn’t a liar ( unlike their god Zeus), the wisdom Paul demonstrated when he said he was an apostle of God rather than of Jesus, explaining that Christians were and are free to choose to worship and experience God's grace rather than worshipping out of compulsion, highlighting the dichotomy of Paul presenting himself as a humble servant who was nonetheless called to boldly and passionately share the gospel, that both faith and knowledge are needed to come to Christ but even in the smallest measures they can bring us into a saving relationship with God. “God’s riches at Christ’s expense!” Amen!
