Roger Williams introduces Gwledd / The Feast
The gesture she made while saying symbiotic relationship is the same what a few people do in Tenet while saying the word "Tenet"
Wow, seems very rare for these two to speak about the film. Glad this interview exists
Monsters remains a favourite of mine, and I return to it often. Not for some, of course, as people think it's a "monster" movie.... they do play a part, but they drive the story. There's just a simple honesty about it and I love it's mostly ad-libbed - also Whitney and Scoot work well. The sense of scale uses too.... you can see a lot of this in Rogue One (another of my faves to a degree). In a "making of" there's a 4 hour cut, I'd love to see that.
Thank you so much for sharing this extraordinary q&a with us! Jeremy Theobald and Lucy Russell are both amazing actors. I wish we could see more of them in Mr. Nolan's films...
This is probably the most honest and transparent interview by a film maker I’m so glad I watched this episode. Gareth is massively talented and as a cinefile I remember going to see Monsters in the cinema off the back of his story making it for a mere £500k. Subsequently I’ve seen his other movies including The Creator and have loved them all
honestly, I'd love to see a remaster/re-edit/vfx re-do of the film
This is the interview of Gareth Edwards I really wanted to see. Thank you both for sharing. It's excellent! Love "Monsters"!
Big love to Gareth, he's been such a massive inspiration to me and a lot of others
Xd
Too late to bring him back now at this point, but I still wish we could get the full Garath Edwards Godzilla trilogy!
he should have gotten a full godzilla AND star wars trilogy with no executive interference, imo.
