Sorry didn't realize after setting up new audio mixer I didn't adjust OBS audio settings to reflect changes so no audio. I play on a 49" Super Ultra Wide but recorded in 16:9 aspect ratio for better viewing on more standard monitor setups (so you will not be able to see my mini map or chat off to the sides)

I definitely agree the AI needs some HEAVY work lmao. Intelligent AI and life forms on the surface of the planets would add so much more to the game I think.
As much as I LOVE this game, it didn't turn out how I expected, though it doesn't stop me from enjoying it. I was hoping the gun play and movement would be faster than this. Everything still feels wonky and kinda slow
still alpha i feel the same way but this game is so ambitious that its gonna take prolly even a few more years of development to get it to where its considered an actual functional mmo. the progress theyve made lately is astounding tho a lot more in previous years bringing on a more dev team and also the new technology. they started making this game when the technology to make it and sustain it wasnt really around yet.
I definitely agree. I still enjoy the game also. I only hope that I'm alive when they release the final product lol. Due to some life events I've not uploaded in quite some time. I will be uploading more game play soon though.

How can you tell the Friendly AI from Enemy - Often I walk into this and they are in a stance holding a position and I never know if to drop them or risk it and approach. I see these complete guides Bounty Hunting and it never mentions the on foot stuff. I found that going in with one weapon let me stow ones I found off dead enemies. I got a big collection of guns for the price of an Arc light pistol.
Typically the only way to tell that I know of are by their uniforms. Most of the friendly AI will be wearing White suits and armor. Not many missions at the time of this video have friendly AI (I think the distress signal one is the only one ive seen) As they add more missions with more friendly AI they may change how to determine good from bad. But as of this video I can only tell via their armor.
@@brgcspann7042 I had a bounty guild Mission in a station "Apprehend Kellamassi" - I went in there and there were Green and Red troopers and those in Black. The Green and Red were Friendly, the black bad guys (I found this out afterwards). Went from neutral Lawful to Crime Stat 3!

How is the progress going with this game? I'm also wondering how much PVE combat there is as I'm wondering if can avoid pvp too. The game looks so beautiful and fun..
I think they have made more progress in the last 3 years than they have in the first 5 years lol. The PVE is still being expanded upon. You can do Bounty missions and merc missions vs AI and if you want to avoid PVP you can avoid taking bounties on real players and avoid breaking the law so players dont come after you. Still cant avoid players who just go out of their way to player kill, but if they do they get a criminal stat and can be hunted by others.
@@brgcspann7042 Is it normal for players to go out of their way just to player kill in it? To grief.
@@AztraNine near Grim Hex which is the only space station players with a crime Stat can go and not be arrested is really the only area you have to worry about it too much. It can happen anywhere but players will player kill at grim hex because it's outside of the police zone and they can kill without getting a criminal rating.
Been thinking about giving this game a go on my new rig. It's been a couple years. I stopped playing right around when they made the major flight model changes. Only problem is I had around 40-45 fps which bothered me but I'm waiting on the last piece of the puzzle for my new PC and putting together a list of games I need to download that I can actually run lol. What are your specs/settings? If you don't mind me asking. I'm putting together a Ryzen 7 3700X+RTX 2060 build. Hope it can stand up to at least medium settings at 60FPS.
They have added quite a bit in the last couple years too! They are getting ready to drop new patch in a few days I think. Ill have more content on the game once that drops. I run an OC i7-8700k at 4.7ghz, I had 16GB RAM when I made this video, i just recently added another 16GB ram so now 32GB total, and a EVGA 1080TI GPU. I have been trying so hard to get ahold of a 3080 but its near impossible right now lol.

It's not an AI problem, it's a server resource problem. The AI itself is allright. It's just the tickrate of the servers are very low. Which is understandable, since the current game simulates an entire star system.
Ive heard the single player content AI is much better but I havent touched any of that as thats a seperate purchase at the moment. I do agree... Be it a server issue or an AI issue, either way it does break immersion for sure. Amazing graphics, detail, ship systems, everything so good. Then I shoot the AI in the back and he never turns around or takes cover Lol

Sorry, it wasn't necessarily supposed to be so much an informative video more than just Gameplay. Im still very new to the whole RUclips thing and still trying to get the hang of creating content. So most of my videos are just recordings of gameplay so that I get more used to talking and such. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment and ill work on making better videos. Thanks!!!
