It seems as if only Christians are commenting on this. I am not a Christian but I'm not Atheist nor Agnostic. I do think there is something, I just don't know what. And when I listen to bands like Hawk Nelson and Skillet, I hear it for the music not the message. I still like this song

suicide stems from pain and the complete realization that there is no such thing as a better tomorrow. i've been there and i'm still battling it. May God's gracious touch be upon the most troubled hearts that exist today. God bless everyone.

I was abused as a kid. I have strugled with cutting, suicied, and depression for a long time. I recently tried to commit suicied but failed. I have since rededicated my life to my lord and savior and know that i failed at suicied for a reason. God has a plan for my life and i will follow him were he leads me. Thank you for posting this song. It really speaks to me.

I cant say I know how you feel about these problems specifically, but i do know hardships.. but even better than songs, people in your life can help you find joy, especially a youth pastor (their always fun and wise). This song sounds like two different songs i've heard before .

I know this song is about suicide but it means a lot to me. My boyfriend was killed by a drunk driver and the drunk driver got 2 days in jail for killing someone. Ans i feel that if I had been there then things would have been okay. Everytime I hear his name ,it's just not the same and i feel like I AM wasting away and I wish that it was yesterday so that things could be okay. R.I.P Tim

@demetriscene I stopped cutting myself two years ago after a retreat with my church. at that retreat i realized how much God loved me, how with his help and praying there are better ways to deal with anger or depression than harming myself or others.

Dear brothers and sisters I wish to you Gods grace. Many find me crazy and stupid that I believe in Jesus Christ, they say but you are doing a good education. Please know that the world will hate you. What is the proof for Jesus, very easy His words come true, look at the earthquakes, wars, hate and much more. The thing about God is you don't need to prove God. That's the thing that's so hard for our human minds to grasp. It's a hard concept to explain, but the thing about God is that you have to believe in Him and know Him to know that He is God.

Hey :) I just went on a retreat called Love out Loud.. and i learned that even through all the really bad times in my life i just need to take it to God and lean on him. God has a purpose for you so never let down...keep pushing and fight for yourself cause God loves you! ill be praying for you!

hey randomchick :) i rekon my life sucks at times 2. I dont know if you are a Christian but I am praying 4 u. if you are listen to I still miss you, its about dying of cancer. I have an injury that stopped me doing everything I enjoy- sport and music. I was in hospital for a long time last year, I was in so much pain. I couldnt even use music to take it away like I used to. My uncle died only 3 months ago of a heart attack. I am sick of pain, I tried to kill myself but this song stopped me. :)

I have dealt with people who have been about to commit suicide...and the solutuion is so simple but so difficult, especially when most of my co workers are content with putting a bullet in them to stop anyone from getting hurt. Jesus is the only thing that can bring us back...the only thing that can put us through...there is nothing else to it

I agree just look at the theif on the cross with Christ. Sadly at that point people just say a prayer hoping that it will magically get them out of hell. I also agree we should be living daily for God as a law. It should'nt just be a prayer once and return to how you were living. When we sin, we should ask for forgiveness in sincerety. So are you saying when we sin we become unsaved? Or is just just suicide? Because again, it wouldnt be just if a righteous man sinned before dying & went to hell.
