    Nice shop! I have a 12x16 shed I am going to setup as a wood shop in the spring. Quick question...I noticed snow on the ground...I also live in a cold climate (upsate NY). What are you using to heat the shop in the winter? Thanks, keep up the good work!

      I don’t do a tremendous amount of work when it’s stupid cold out, but I have a propane heater the tank top type to break the bite off run it for a half hour or so with air purifiers on to circulate

    This book is awesome if you're thinking of making some cool stuff for your garden. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- It has tons of plans for all kinds of things, like storage sheds, picnic tables, single garage plans, dog kennels, and garden swings. I'm hooked on this book forever. Thanks, Ryan! There's so much content in these Shed Plans. It's amazing! For long-term service, it seems like it's worth spending a bit more money. Ryan, you're so generous to share all this info with us, and at such a low price.

    I love the shop. GREAT job fitting everything in there. Very efficient. I just moved and my shop is in a 2 car garage now, but my previous shop was a 12x8 shed that I built in the old backyard. I was able to fit a table saw, miter saw, tower bandsaw, planer, jointer and dust collection in there along with all the other tools. It looked a bit like yours but not as finished. Great job man.

  • @markazevedo1499
    @markazevedo1499 11 месяцев назад

    To compare the 2 saws you need to measure the amount of energy in watts necessary to do a set amount of work where work is defined as a given force over a set distance. So, in this case you need to use a stock feeder to apply the same feed rate to a piece of wood as it is cut by the saw blade while measuring the number of watts necessary to perform the work. Also, the same blade and wood stock should be used for both saws to eliminate any differences. And finally, the test should be run multiple times to confirm that the measurement is valid. The amp rating of the motor is the maximum amps that the motor can maintain its rated speed while under load. Motors use lots of amps temporarily for starting to reach speed. Once they reach speed, there is a nominal amp draw without a load. Pushing a board through the saw blade creates the load which increases the number of amps needed to keep the motor running at its rated speed.

    • @thevintagevu

      So you just rip a 3/4” board at a 45 degree angle on wall cleats and cleats to go on what you are hanging and they lock together, hard to describe, hopefully this answers your question……. Maybe I’ll make a video describing this

    • @Onkel.Moetrik

      @@thevintagevu Now I get it😅 I thought the boards was mounted with a spacer so there was a e.g. 8 m.m space so things could go between the wall and the boards. Thanks for a fast response. Claus
