Negative Feedback - S/T Split CD (2005)
It's been awhile since I've uploaded anything but I'm looking to change that. The first in line will be a bit of a series I'm calling the "Nick Macleod Procession". Nick played an integral part in the Truro punk scene not only by being very supportive, but also playing in several bands.
This is his first band, Negative Feedback. Active from December 2004 to December 2006, they played many shows but this is their only recording. This was an attack ad by the PC party (Joe Clark) versus the Liberals (Jean Chrétien). Just to note, the Liberals won 172 seats that year, opposed to the PC's 12. Found on a VHS tape from the year 2000.

Here's Joey Shithead on this short-lived version of the Mike Bullard Show. Joey performed the song "You Won't Stand Alone" acoustic and did a brief interview. I'm posting this because it's nowhere to be found on the internet. I taped this in 2004 and transferred it in 2021.

I was lucky enough to grow up during the longshot days. I was obsessed with dancefloor, knucklehead, WNH, the cleats, hit n run, rum runner, rebel spell. To me those bands were better than the bands on punkcore records. Plus we got to see them play 5-6 times a year, and they were so cool to me and my friends. No rock star bullshit. I felt like they were my friends. Love that Graham is still going hard. Home Front is cool. Im 34 now and still think about those shows on the regular.

@@GENETICANGRY that’s awesome! Im originally from Bathurst NB. Moved to Alberta when i was 12. Met some punk rockers and the rest was history. That’s awesome they made it out that way. I always wondered what the punk scene was like in the maritimes.
