In Vorbereitung auf die Krönung geht seine königliche Hoheit, Kronprinz Eheneden Erediauwa, Edaiken N’Uselu vom Königreich Benin, von seiner vormaligen Residenz dem Uselu Palast in das Stadtzentrum von Benin City. Das andere Video war nur 10 min lang und es gibt kaum Straßenbeleuchtungen, deswegen ist es gefährlich nachts über die Straße zu laufen. Die Leute denken, dass man Geld hat und wollen Geld (nicht zwangsweise handeln). Sie fragen nach der Herkunft und da sind die USA und Russland einfach in den Gedanken vorrangig. (Viele Leute hier schauen CNN.)

Danke für das Video. Bin ehrenamtlich aktiv in einer Flüchtlingsunterkunft in Ingolstadt, wo auch viele aus Benin City kommen, und da hatte ich mal das Bedürfnis zu sehen, wie es dort eigentlich ausschaut. :) Blos jetzt frage ich mich, warum sind die, die bei uns sind, aus dieser Stadt geflüchtet? Selber sagen sie, dass sie politisch verfolgt werden. Stimmt das?
Hey, sorry, dass ich jetzt erst schreibe. Ich kann natürlich nicht sicher sagen, ob die Leute politisch verfolgt werden, aber ich habe selbst Flüchtlinge in Benin City gesehen, die aus umkämpften Gebieten geflohen sein sollen. Ich habe mich persönlich nicht mit einem Geflüchteten unterhalten, aber der Drang nach Europa zu kommen ist groß, auch in Bevölkerungsschichten, die sichere Arbeit haben. Auch das politische System ist bei weitem nicht so stabil, wie hier. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass man dort sehr leicht in Ungnade fallen kann oder in Lebensgefahr geraten kann. All das, obwohl das Land wunderschön ist und ich viele tolle Leute kennengelernt habe.
Hannes, ich danke dir dass du meine stadt gewessen sind. Ich hoffe im 2025 jahr dass sie nochmal zuruck fahren konnen es wird wie Shinjuku in Tokyo oder besser. Mein Dutsch is nicht sehr gut aber halo es geht.........Lol Gruss Got!

Hallo, Ich finde es schön, dass du meine Heimatstadt besucht hast. Wie deine Video zeigt, ist es klar. dass wir noch einiges oder vieles erledigen müssen. Es ist eine alte Stadt, aber trotzdem ist vieles liegen geblieben und hoffentlich fangen wir (die heutige Generation) an, unsere Heimatstadt wieder aufzubauen.

Why would I be ashamed to live in Nigeria in a "normal" house? I didn't even want to live in a hotel. I was not on vacation, but wanted a real life experience, not some protected cushioned evironment. Unfortunately I noticed that many people have great bias against foreigners and think they are special. Nevertheless I got to know loads of great people in Nigeria.
Why should he be ashamed. Its good to be natural. Are white people special than us. It's a very good experience anyway........ Thumbs up

I am not surprised at all because you are from Austria, don't make jokes with my state ok because i live in Austria , many house in Austria are more than 300 years, in Austria you have to share toilet with your neighbours, Austria is the ugliest country in Europe there are old buildings everywhere in Austria
You must know it best, you know the aprrox. 50 european countries by heart to decide that Autria is the ugliest and I'm from Autria. Also, isn't it great historic artefacts having old architecture remaining in the townscape?

Hey sorry for the late answer. The people treated me exceptionally well. In some situations one shold be careful though and I was glad to have company in such instances, but again: beautiful country with great people <3
