Best floor I've danced on, with great main stream sounds, but could do with a venue sign outside. Got there early and walked all round the building wondering if I was at the right place.
Now that's what you call a tune, Teddy P on lead vocals with the Bluenotes This was the music for those of us born late 50's/early 60's.

It is actually one and the same band. They originally wanted to issue this as Force Of Life but was released without their permission on the Streaker-label as Force. In 1975 it got a French release as Saratoga Trunk. Right now (October 2023) there's a vinyl re-issue as Force (on Cannonball Soul Records) with a newly discovered Spanish version on the other side.
It is impossible to get a good pic of someone with a double chin, a bolding head, and two wooden legs after having just one pint. We had a great night out and the tunes were brilliant as usual 🎤🎵🎶💎👍
