Welcome to my channel "ww2passion". This channel consists of videos of WW2 planes at airshows and bombers from various organizations that come and visit my local airports, models of existing WW2 airplanes from those airshows and bomber visits and even some that did exist. Some video game soundtracks, music from movies, or true classical music will also be uploaded/heard through my videos. This channel is intended for general audiences or mixed audiences. The content is not just for children 13 and under or just for adults.

Just add some sticky backed wheel weights to lower portion of the inner nose. Maybe 1/2 ounce, I get my weights in 1/4 and 1/2 ounce variations for use with planes and model railroad cars. You can get enough for dozens of projects for about 12 bucks.

Nice video
Who taught this guy to focus.
What a beautiful machine. I love the paint job. Nice to see the procession of Navions taxying past too.
The two F-15s in your video are not F-15E Strike Eagles, instead, they're a pair of F-15Cs from the Louisiana Air National Guard. The F-15E is a two seat fighter, and it is painted in overall Dark Gunship Gray. The F-15C/Ds are painted in a two tone gray scheme that was developed by PACAF, at the start of the 90's.
Thank you for letting me know. I stand corrected.
Great slideshow passion!!!!!!
Thanks!
Sooooo...where is the extinguisher for FIFI's startup...slakin
I've got hundreds of hours workin on FIFI. Some fun was turning the brake drums for Fifi and Lil on a WWII lathe with a plate saying the lathe was approved by the War Board.
As far as I know only the R-3350-41 had the overheating/fire problem which Wright fixed with the R-3350-57 and final R4360-35 Wasp, not sure what engines are in FIFI.
Man seeing any B-17 makes me depressed now
This has got to be the worst job of painting I’ve ever seen.
I love Thunderbirds. Thanks so much for your video! I was looking one of these. Salute from Brazil🇧🇷🇺🇸
Thank you for watching my video and you're very welcome I am glad that you liked it. I still got to post a video of the airshow in Cleveland which featured the Thunderbirds again. Stay tuned for that and I encourage to subscribe and click the notification bell that way you get notified when the video is uploaded.

Hello do you know the history of the this plane because my great grandfather flew in this plane he was part of the crew if u know anything about it please tell me or add me on discord and do you know of if it was at a show in September 29 2015 I believe
Nice work Looks cool
Thank you
I have this kit also Ju-88C of hobbycraft really great job in this vintage kit congratulations friend 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊
Thank you. I did not know there is a Ju88C kit. What scale is it?
So cool!
Gooba Thanks! It was cool to see it for the 1st time in my life
Nice build!
Thank you kind sir
Nice build. Do you remember who the decal manufacturer was? Thanks.
Thanks. Here is the link to the decals. mikegrantdecals.com/shop/product/b-24h-witchcraft/
Oooooooh where did you get the decals from? I search but always end with decals for 1/72 or 1/32 scale, never 1/48, or it's for a D or a B model, and i want a J lol. Great Build btw :)
I had to make the decals from scratch by using the selection tools in paint to get the markings, serial number, nose art from the pictures of the B-25. I created a Microsoft Word file with the decals at the proper 1/48 scale size. You just need to make sure you have decal paper ready and decal bonder spray.
Nice bird. NAS Agana, Guam operated 3 HU-16D's in the early '70's, and had one HU-16C as a gate-guard aircraft ...
Excellent footage William, I always loved watching this fly at Camarillo 👍
Thanks Ed for your kind compliment! I always loved seeing all WW2 planes at Camarillo. Hope to be able to come back for an airshow visit one of these years. Stay safe and healthy!
Nice build.. do the Bunny decals come with the kit? If not, where did you get them? Thanks!
saito125 Thanks! I could not find the decals at any of the popular online sites. So, I had to make them from scratch from various pictures taken.
I was there for the show, it was soooo coooollll, the F35 was especially loud and the thunderbirds almost gave me a heart attack when the flew right over the crowd
Good job! I just bought the 1/48 Monogram B-24J along with decals for "Witchcraft". I flew in the Collings Foundation aircraft and now want a model of it. Keep up the great work!
MsixtyA3 Thank you for your compliments! I flew in the Collings B-24 two years ago in Camarillo, CA and the B-17 Nine O Nine this past summer in North Canton, OH. Lucky to have been able to ride in the B-17 before the unfortunate crash in CT. I did a model of the B-17 Nine O Nine too.
When you took this flight, I was at Dayton in the museum. 4 days earlier, I was in this plane. Crazy coincidence.
Good deal! When I saw your video you did earlier, I thought you saw it in your home state of Pennsylvania.
Tip: Use some pva glue for glass parts
Yeah I know. I realized after the Liberator that regular glue is not the answer due to the fogging effect. After performing some research at the time, I now use Micro Kristal Klear and Testors Clear Parts Cement & Window Maker glues.
ww2passion what kit is this, and brand? Other than that, nice job!
@@cheezysheen2984 Monogram 1/48 B-24J Liberator Kit# 85-5629. Thanks for compliments
This tragedy has devastated me. When I saw a text from my dad at 4:26 on the morning of October 3rd, I was crushed. I love Collings Foundation so much that my avatar is them. Witchcraft. I even have a video on my channel of my experience at their wings of freedom tour from August. This is one of the toughest times I am going through right now. I have a little model of nine o nine in my room, and every time I see it my stomach aches. I am heartbroken about this tragedy. Go give all the support you can to the Collings Foundation. They are going through the worst time right now.
This is truly, a sad loss. It was unfortunate that i never had seen this b-17 with own eyes. Two b-17 in the last century. As well as the loss of the liberty bell. I can not get this depressing news out of my head.
What are the other B-17s that we lost? I know Nine O Nine and Liberty Belle (which I never saw with my own eyes). Are there others I am missing?
@@ww2passion351 i think thats it
Rest peacefully those who have perished and Nine-O-Nine (Oct. 2, 2019) . This war plane was gorgeous and gave me goosebumps watching and listening to it. What a tragic loss, both life and beautiful plane :'(
Yes indeed. This was my FAVORITE B-17 and seeing it crash like that just devastated me and brought tears to my eyes. I am glad I got to ride in it back in August while at the MAPS Air Museum in North Canton, Ohio. It was the ride of my dreams and I LOVED every minute of it. The video of it is on this channel as well. I intend to always have a model of the aircraft with me where ever I go and support the remaining B-17s that fly in any way I can.
@@ww2passion351 ♥
ww2passion I will never get over this loss. I get chills when I see it in pictures or videos. To think that we’ve lost 2 B-17s in the last decade. Liberty Bell and Nine o Nine. I am still so devastated from this. Love your channel and how it’s about my favorite hobbies: ww2 and war planes.
@@gooba3284 Well the good thing is that the Collings Foundation still has another B-17G as a backup. The B-17 they have now was bought and acquired from the Evergreen Foundation painted as Shady Lady. They are currently finishing maintenance and repainting it as Outhouse Mouse and which is supposedly the sister B-17 to the Nine O Nine. So they are not done with B-17s! I still have all my pictures of Nine O Nine and will keep them on my Webshots desktop and website I am working on. Thank you for your compliments on my channel. Hope you got other ideas for your models based on what you see on my channel.
ww2passion Thanks for the reply. Do you think the new one they are bringing in will ever fly? I’m glad I got to see nine o nine in August while it was still around. Do we know what type of B-17 this is? (Model type) I’ve thought it was the repainted “Ye olde Pub” that was recently released for touring. I never got to fly in nine o nine. I may never fly in a WWII era plane. We all may never if the FAA decides to ground all war era aircraft. Also, how do you get to those tours? (Korean war, Cleveland, etc.)
I can hardly believe the news today, I'm stunned, very sad, I'm glad you got to finally fly in her. Take care William.
Ed Whisenant yeah I was saddened, shocked, and stunned when I heard the news too. I said to myself that I am so glad that I got to ride on it when I did which was my favorite B-17 ever. I really hope that there is some way that they can restore it.
Ed Whisenant I was hoping that it was a mistake in the reporting and if it was a B17 that it would not be 909.
Sweet planes
Bet that was fun
I went there in when they were in PA. Its a cool show and some planes even took off! I’m upset that they had to take away the p-40 for maintenance at the show that I was at. I have a vid on my experience here. Cool vid!
My avatars even witchcraft!
Gooba I see that. Nice!! As you can tell my avatars is the nose of the Nine O Nine B-17. My favorite
Gooba Thank you for subscribing to my channel! What town in Pennsylvania were you at? It’s always a fun show to watch and attend to. I go every single year. I don’t know if you checked my other videos but I had a flight experience in the B-17. I had a blast! What was the issue with the P-40 when you were there? I will definitely check out your video.
ww2passion Hey, sorry it’s a little late for the reply. I just saw this reply. The tour we went to was in Butler PA. This was my 3rd time going so it it’s always neat learning new things about the planes. I saw your other video and it looks very cool! The fact that you’re so high up in a B-17 is crazy. Its like living in a dream I feel like. I may never go on a flight in a B-17, though due to the nine o nine incident earlier in October. I don’t know the exact issue with the Warhawk. They only told us it was in for maintenance. Thanks for checking out my video! It means a lot because no one I know other than my dad really shares this same interest of mine.
@@gooba3284 The incident with Nine O Nine back in October was a shocker but it doesn't stop me from riding all other WW2 planes. If anything, the incident just strengthened my resolve. When I saw the Warhawk in North Canton, OH, I once saw the pilot of the P-40 put cold water into the engine. So looks like a radiator or cooling system issue. You're welcome! I, too, appreciate the fact that we both share this same interest.
Sweet, where do you find theses shows? Is there a calender or something? I would like to go some time, if so, can u send it to me?
Every year the Collings Foundation does a national tour with these aircraft called the Wings of Freedom Tour. Here is their schedule as of now: www.collingsfoundation.org/events/category/wings-of-freedom-tour/. I don't know what state you live in but they are currently in Pennsylvania. They do maintenance during the winter months and then start their tour again from Florida in like late February or sometime in March.
