Join me on the ADVENTURE.....
I built a fishing boat from scraps
#diy #project #craft #fishing
Well, this is the official, final build, of the DIY Fishing boat. It will be bigger, better, and floatier than the last builds. It will be an absolute fishing machine. And most importantly, y'all are coming along with me on the entire adventure.
Thank you guys for watching, and make sure you stay tuned for part 2, where we are going to be fishing in the boat. Until the next fishing adventure.....

Google Maps Fishing Challenge (kicked out)
Просмотров 9521 день назад
#bassfishing #giantbass #googlemaps #bigbass Google Maps. A navigational tool. NOT, meant for fishing. However, when in serious need of a new fishing location, Google Maps can be the perfect thing to help you find some new bodies of water to explore, and wet a line in. Today we are going to be hitting up a few spots on Google Maps, and seeing what we can catch. And, yes, I got kicked out... Tha...

#adventure #alaska #outdoors #gun #war Today we are going to be hiking up the incredible landscape of George Island outside of Elfin Cove, Alaska, to explore a World War II Gun and Base. This was on of my favorite videos to make, because the adventure was such an incredible experience, and it is unlike anything I have ever done. I hope you enjoy the video, and until the next fishing adventure.....

#alaska #fishing #outdoors #adventure This is the last day fishing out of Eagle Charters in Elfin Cove, Alaska. This was such an incredible adventure, and I am glad to say we ended the last day with some monster fish. There will be a few more videos coming out from some other awesome adventures we went on during this trip more related to the draw dropping scenery, but until those are out, I wil...

great work, buddy.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
dude doritos on a ham and cheese is absolute heat
Ik, I’m going to have to try it now
What’s that big spoon for
You can jig them in deep water with a depth finder, and catch really nice Bass. The lure typically imitates a large injured shad.
Ngl I put doritos in my sandwiches to yall should try it!
For real? Alright, I’m gonna try it
Sounds like a West Virginian
😂😂
“Didn’t wack me hard enough” 🤣 that guy seems like a character!
He really was! I forgot to mention his Mohawk!

Loved this video
Thank you!
Awesome video 🤙🤙
Love this!
Awesome video. What worm did you have on the jig? Never tried throwing a jig with a worm that size but did like the setup.
I appreciate it!! Yeah it is for sure a unique rig, but I like throwing it. It is a small jig, with a neko-rig style plastic. I get those kind of lures on Reaction Innovations. com. They are a cool little company that make some unique and awesome soft plastics.
Congrats!!!!!
I appreciate it!
I'm first I LOVE SEA LIONS 🦭
You won, and dang that was a big gap in between words.
Hey Hudson good video also what cameras do you use just wondering because I’m thinking what I should get
I appreciate it!! And I use a few different cameras, but for the most part ai use a GoPro hero 9 or 10 black, and my iPhone 14 Pro.
@@hudsonsfishingadventures ok thanks

SO FAKE LIKE YOUR MOM AND ME AT NIGHT SIKE
man I was just out in Valdez halibut fishing reeling in a 35 pounder from 100 feet was torture. I couldn't fathom triple digit fish.
Those are still really nice Halibut! But yeah, it really was BRUTAL. And the lodge we were fishing with, had somebody catch a 225lber that same day!!! Imagine that!!
Do you remember me
Nice video man!
Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we would not endure the punishment of sin. Create a relationship with Jesus before it’s too late. Turn and give your problems to God.
Awesome 👌
Time to re-commission that sucker! Things are getting weird!
😂😂 seriously, I am in 🇺🇸
Video retitled to “Today I found out that there was a major worldwide war in the 1940’s”.
I digging one rn do you have any tips
That is awesome! I would say, if possible, you want it to be at least 2-3 feet deep. The whole pond doesn’t have to be that deep, but maybe a deeper section 2-3 feet deep is good. This is just so that weather you live in a cold or hot climate, the fish will be able to survive during the rougher weather by going deep. I don’t know if you have checked out my diy backyard bass pond playlist, but maybe check it out. My most recent pond build I showed an interesting way to make it deeper if you can’t dig down. And besides that, just make sure you have a way to some what filter and or move the water around from getting it stagnant, I used a company called The Pond Guy for everything, and it all is still running perfectly to this day, years later. Good luck, and have fun!
Thank you so much I will definitely Check it out!
My dad was in dutch harbor during ww 2. Army
No way!! That is super cool! Tell him I said thanks for his service!
Interesting info, and gorgeous scenery! New sub, keep up the good work. The 125lb halibut on one of your other videos is awesome!
It was really cool! And thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Have a great day!
There are many locations like this in AK. If interested in WW2 Alaska check out a book called the thousand mile war. Our troops endured so much pain.
I will totally check that out!!! Thanks for the comment, and yes, they did go through a crazy amount of suffering for our freedoms
But like can it be taken as a carry on or?
Not really, if you want something to take as a carry on check out a rod called a pen rod
Great fish, but not a two pounder
This was an old video, and I must humbly admit, I used to be quite the exaggerator
So cool. What the men of our military have done for us… just wow. We are so blessed
Really, really true. We live in a pretty awesome country to say the least.
It’s amazing!
Golshing! Love it!
Its only the start bro, keep consistent!
I appreciate it, and I will!!
This is Ryan, Hudson jacked
Haha! We gotta be strong for golf and baseball 💪💪💪
How stable is that boat? Does it wobble much while walking around in it?
Personally, I love it. I weight about 150lbs, and while I can’t Jump all around like you could on a real bass or Jon boat, I can comfortably stand up and fish, and move from the front to the back. Plus, it is just super easy to drive around with a cheap trolling motor and battery, and it sits high on the water, so I can drive around decently shallow. And it never feels like it will tip when I am moving around.
Even though it was part of the Coastal Artillery Corps--a branch of the Army until 1950--it is actually a converted naval gun: a Mark 6, 6"/50 caliber (tube length) gun. It was originally the secondary armament on a navel vessel--likely an old Maine or Virginia class pre-dreadnought battleship. So, while the gun has been there about 82 years, it's actually ~120 years old. It looks like the breach has been taken off as well. Nice video!
……… holy cow!!! You know your stuff!!! Thanks so much for the awesome comment, and for teaching us all (especially me) about such a cool gun! Thanks again!
Your down to 4.99k
😂😂😂😂 true, somebody didn’t like me being at 5,000 😂😂
@@hudsonsfishingadventures i got you with the sub, hopefully you will be back on 5k
I really appreciate it!!!
Glad to be there!
It's all about you!!!
Thanks so much for all the support!!!
Congrats!
Thanks man!!!
That's no monster.. thats a baby butt.. I have caught "monster butts" that we had to hog tie to our Boston Whaler, and drag in to get weighed in. I have seen 600 Pounders brought in at the fish houses! 😂
I believe it!
Awesome video man. Is that stationary Howitzer?
I actually do believe it is a stationary Howitzer gun!!!! That is impressive you knew that!
I once heard of a man that has been to Elfin Cove 15 times or so and just monitors guests fishing form when reeling in big halibut! He is like a chupa cabre, sasquatch, or a bigfoot myth like figure that haunts the cove to make sure no one EVER lowers the rod tip - not even for a second - I looked for him but never found him. I wonder if the legend is true?! They say he wears fusia shirts and th flight attendants love him...but who knows!
@@thequarrygolfcourse9082 Is he older with a long beard? Looks like a wizard. I’m not sure if he’s the same person, but I met a man who lived in Inian Cove. I think he’s in his eighties. He moved up there from Texas at eighteen or nineteen if I remember right. Very nice and loved to tell stories.
Eagle Charters is top notch! Mike created something amazing!
Oh, I visited that gun! That’s one of the coves we would anchor in and serve the trollers. We climbed all over that island. Another fun one was the island just past Hoktaheen Creek. We were anchored behind it most of the time. Funny story, one time we were looking after a dog for a few days. We weren’t expecting anyone for a bit, so me, my deckmate and the captain’s son took the dog and the skiff over to the island. We were climbing around and exploring. I went up where two cliffs met and climbed up to the top. I walked along it back to the boys and couldn’t find the dog. Where’s the dog? They didn’t know. So I went to find him. He’s was on the opposite side of the island having an argument with a pair of sea otters. I got him, and then realized I couldn’t go back the I came with him. It was to steep. So, we went all the way around the backside of the island. As we came around a bend, I saw a boat coming in. Oh crap. We booked it as fast as you can on 45 degree slopes. Made just in time to see the skiff get back to the boat. We ended up calling the island Granite Island after the dog after that. Also, if you saw a large orange and gray boat called the Pavlof, that’s the boat I worked on. The captain and his wife are great people.
That is so cool! And what a story 😂😂😂😂 I think I did see that boat while we were there which is pretty crazy!! Thanks so much for the comment, I appreciate it!
Why’s it white on one side?
It is a halibut, so it lays on the bottom of the ocean floor its whole life. So, one said of the fish is bright white, and if you notice, both eyes are on the same side, so that the flat white part lays on the bottom, and then the 2 eyes are on top so the fish can see!!
@@hudsonsfishingadventures Ohhh, I didn't know those were halibut. Thanks!
Ain’t that called a flounder
A flounder looks very similar, but up north they call the Halibut, because they get much larger
