Both bikes running vitavon 11T drive sprocket black bike also has 22T motor pinion stock is 20T. Both also running CNHL 6600mah 120c 2s LIPOs. Black bike is also a bit heavier with more alloy upgrades and steel Vitavon transmission gears.

First run to test all the changes being able to change the speed to suit what you are doing is a definite bonus. More features to test greatly improved braking next.

I was heavily involved in the development and testing of the V2 diff to make an 8S diff that would last. This is how I have found to be the best and quickest way to build them.

First time running this chassis sub zero temps so the wheel didn't last long. This chassis is 180g lighter than a stock EXB because of all the braces and plastic parts that it replaces. The biggest difference is the car is now perfectly balanced on all four corners. Agreed but with all the other upgrades it hasn't broken like something Arrma made for a long time.
@@user-yr2mx9mn1j I fitted one from new and it got bent up. It also added more stress to the wing mount I do have dog lead in the bag though.

hey there curious what kind of mic do you need for this? i have the adapter and tried a few mics but they dont seem to work?!?!?
I tested with electret and condenser mics and found they both work. I made a cable with both mic and an earbud socket from the details in the manual. I then made a V2 as the earbud volume was way too high I used a 5K pot to have volume control. Orqa has sins added volume for the earbud in the menu, I did a very long time ago put the details on the Orqa owners lounge search under posts with my name Gary Boulter.
@@gboulter just got alot figured out lol... did you know the pinout in the goggles is different on v1 n v2s goggles!? I have v2s.
@@sp3cimen6 Yes the pinout was changes as people wanted the Steel earbuds and similar to work. This is what the adapter did on the V1s.

I like them I did change all the 160 screws to alloy before I ran them though.

Nicely done. I'm trying to design one of these using an XK K110. It's tiny and I'll have to mix the controls using linkages since there's no room to add any sort of computer tech. I would love to see some close-ups of the linkages if you do control mixing using mechanical stuff... even though it's been 9 years since this video was posted.
These tandem designs are typically linked by the tail shaft to keep synchronized, not sure if xk has that or just 6mm coreless motors for anti torque

I'm in the uk so it made for a cheap solution and made it very very tough. if I was in the states i would probably look at the facebook.com/HotdogCustomz/ There ebay listing says they are US based. Lighter than stock BLX chassis.
