@ all my gpu’s tested are stock. Please check the description in the video to see what GPU model and make was used for the video. Your 5600x CPU is a bit slower then the i5 13600k

Simple, close all unnecessary background apps and leave only steam and the game that is running. No corsair icue, no discord, skype, web browser and list can continue

Game engine is limited to 300 fps

I use AIO Corsair 280mm RGB Platinum

Also make sure the cooler is properly seated on the CPU and restore bios to default profile

Maybe V Sync is on in game or you have game setting to limit the fps to 30 or 60 ?

What CPU temperature do you have while you’re in game ? I use latest nvidia driver. Also, if you do a cinebench, what temperature your CPU reach ?

@ average 75-85c but it easily goes 90-100 pretty constantly on high graphics + 170 fps so it seems like it’s pretty high most of time - can’t figure out why, only game to do so. if I lock to 60 fps ingame it stabilizes but not ideal for my monitor ofc. and yea on the newest nvidia drivers the 566.03 I think? any help?

It should be more related to your cpu. Maybe cooling is the issue, try reset bios to defaults

All that info is GPU usage, temperature, power consumption, CPU usage and power consumption, also on GPU is VRAM usage. Also down on there you see the Average FPS , Low fps and low 0.1% FPS

The game is limited by his engine at 60fps. So it is fps capped to 60fps. You can reach more fos with a modd but it will cause stutters and becomes a mess…

2560x1440. But monitor resolution doesn’t matter because time spy will render the benchmark at 2560x1440 and time spy extreme renders at 3840x2160

@@ryzenlaboratory487 the biggest issue is CS GO 2 my FPS drops to 170fps i am playing on 1440p my previous gpu was 3090 and the fps was 300 and more. Really weird. I tryed other games they work fine i guess. ICUE program is for my cpu cooler and the gigabyte center for the gpu and the razer cortex for the keyboard and mouse these programs are on my background, but they were before when I uesd 3090 and it worked just fine.

@@orion9k 7700 would be much better. You can later on upgrade to 7800x3D or 9800x3D. Just change the CPU. Overall, I would change myself to AMD to 7800x3D or 9800x3D ( latter on , because I don’t wanna be early adopter )

I also got a video with Space Marine 2 with i5 13600k + 7900xt. First of all the CS2 is very CPU hungry and you will see a bottleneck with high performance GPUs. Second of all if my videos help you, please support the channel with a like, or even a super like or a membership ( this will help me with expanding my channel and content ). On the whole, with no offense and do not get me wrong, but I will wait for a year to have a better budget and I am willing to change the platform to AMD , looking further for 7800x3D or even new 9800x3D. These CPUs offer much better performance, I know 7800x3D had temperature issues before, but that was fixed and now it is running properly fine. Sorry, but from my point of view Intel kind of disappoints gamers right now

Nice. I’m curious, what performance difference did you see? I’m looking forward to upgrading from my mid-range i5-12400f 3060 build from a couple years ago to something like your build but with a 7600x and a 7800xt. On most benchmarks I’ve seen 1.5x-2x the amount of frames with great latency, but non showcase it in this game except for like one other video on YT and they play 1080p with the same gpu as yours but 7800x3d.

@@washingmachine5225 that is correct, you do see 1.5x-2x performance but with some latency. I do not really recommend it at this time. Maybe later on after some improvements. On the second part, I do recommend you the ryzen 7600x + 7800xt combo but better suitable for 1440p gaming. Later on if you want just upgrade to 7800x3D and you should see some improvements as well

You should wait until Feb or March next year. Nvidia will launch the new RTX 50 series early next year. And the price of RTX 4070S will drop and you can get it cheaper when you buy it later or you can buy the new series if you want. It’s just 4-5 months ahead and it worths waiting.

@@povovovovo I hope this year to make a video with 30 games tested at 1440p with 4070ti super and the same way with 7900xt. But overall, I would personally take the 4070ti super or if budget can handle, 4080/ 4080super, just because of RT and DLSS implementation in games still looks better. If we take into consideration games like Cyberpunk2077 and Rdr2, DLSS is much better compared to FSR

Hello. Sorry but why 1080p ? I would even recommend the i5 13600k, or i5 14600k + 7900xt. Also for better experience, go with ryzen 7 7800x3D + 7900xt ( best combo ). I will also do a benchmark video with RDR2 with i5 13600k + 7900xt. Also I strongly recommend to upgrade to 2560x1440 monitor at least

Windows is installed on samsung nvme 970 evo and games are installed on samsung nvme 980 pro 2tb. I recommend AIO cooler from Corsair 240mm, or air cooler like noctua nh d15, peerless assasin, scythe ninja, be quiet tower cooler

What FPS ? Because over 160fps you hit game engine limit and will use lower GPU. What CPU you have ?

@@cherchil check the setting for refresh rate in game. Also try to use 1440p, maybe you are CPU bottlenecked at 1080p

To be honest, in the past I was preferring nVidia, due to drivers, performance and maybe power consumption. But after testing 7800xt, 7900xt and 7900GRE, I really really recommend AMD. Maybe nVidia is a bit better at video rendering, but for gaming, if you don’t want maximum Ray Tracing, AMD has very nice GPUs and price/performance. Also they have improved their drivers considerably

Well, keep in mind that without recording you gain about 3-5 FPS, then your 7800X3D is able to get you more FPS then what I got, if you overclock the 7900GRE especially the memory, you do get maybe + 7-8% performance. Also to get 240 FPS on games like CS 2, Lol , Apex Legends and others sports titles it is very very doable, but not in AAA. Don’t expect 240 FPS in Cyberpunk at max details, not even 4090 can’t do that. So go ahead with the OLED monitor, you should be ok

@@ryzenlaboratory487 This was exactly the answer I needed to hear. I understand that I won’t be hitting 240 FPS in AAA games, and ray tracing isn’t a priority for me anyway. I think with high graphic settings and technologies like AFMF2 and FSR, I can still get satisfying results in AAA games with FPS ranging from 100-200, depending on the game. At least, that's what I’ve seen from the 2K benchmarks I’ve watched.

I prefer the 16:10 aspect ratio for playing tho, i did try to get used to 16:9 2560x1440, but i dont rly like it. and something like 4:3 1280×960 just looks like trash hah. Gpu usage does go up with higher res, but i dont rly see any difference preformance wise, even at 2160p fps is pretty much same 🤷‍♂. But i do get almost double the ammount when playing premier , i would say aroun 450+ is the avg in 5v5 matches, which is what i mostly play, dm only for warmup. And for example a CS2 benchmark map from workshop, i get constant results of 602 avg and 221 for 1% lows, so its a lot different.

Monitor resolution does not have any influence on the final score. The benchmark will run by default at 1440p and render at 1440p. You might have a lower score due to CPU which is 8c / 16 t, i5 13600k is 14c /20 t. Also might depend on cooling of GPU and OC. Mine is factory oc , no manual OC

@@ryzenlaboratory487 when I override my monitor resolution to 1440p I get low scores of 19800 , could this be because my monitor doesn t support it and it has to downscale the res ?

@@lufty7551 no no no, you do see oscillation of score but the benchmark uses same resolution no matter the monitor resolution
