As a former developer, I'm covering what makes UDN so captivating to me, as well as it's status in the weirdly specific custom-night-game landscape.

This game deserves a better community, literally how does anyone have a problem with this? The entire point of the game is to be over the top with its character inclusions, getting worked up over fuckin Eminem is crazy. Yeah sure, it’s crazy that the FNAF world characters aren’t in yet, but are the devs not allowed to have fun adding stupid characters? Ultra Custom Night just wouldn’t be the same without stupid characters like slightly different lit Freddie’s or the number 3. I don’t think people outside the community are quite going to dwell on this shit, it’s overwhelming enough seeing a billion characters on your screen, I don’t think anyone outside of the UlCN community will see the monkey and go “clearly, this game has a lack of quality control, as the monkey’s reason for existing is too obscure”
