Ableton's session-view is a much more Irie way to jam out for a player of instruments... I used other DAW's, but the way it's intuitive in Ableton with the right equipment is a lot of fun... When you get into it, you see that Ableton is the Sampler of Samplers even more than a mere DAW. I know you can do it with other programs, too, but the way I checked that every sound can be a sample and that every song is just a collection of samples, that really hit once I started using Ableton, because I was never into samples and such all that much before.
'ight... the second one who's telling me Ableton is special... maybe I'll give it a try sooner or later... the single sounds you use are inclusive or from further soundpools ?
