      @@MylesWilliamson07 You can be humble while also having a student mind set, as a matter of fact, being humble plays a big part in having a student mindset, if you’re the opposite of humble then you think to highly of yourself and figure there is no room/need for improvement, meaning if you aren’t humble then you won’t be a good student or at-least you will be a horrible learner, that’s where ego comes in to play, but that depends on how you use your ego, if you’re saying ego in the sense of you think to highly of yourself then yes there is not much room to be humble, but ego is the sense of self importance which IS very important to have, for example if you have zero ego then you cannot have a student mindset because you don’t value self importance and that’s what learning is all about, however if you aren’t humble at all then you can’t learn anything because you’re stuck in the delusion that you’re always right and you have no room for improvement , so it is very necessary to have ego and to be humble in order to learn, but instead of being on the IGNORANT side of ego you should be on the CONFIDENT side of ego with a even amount of humble if you want to learn anything, saying that you can’t have both is basically saying you can’t be confident while learning, and if that where true then no one at all would learn anything because you need to be confident when learning something in order to learn it, but other than that you where spot on with the arrogance part

    Real af, I pushed away some group of friends because I felt so uncomfortable and out of my vision because all they did was not take anything seriously, eat ice cream after training 24/7, or just not train at all, just go to the gym to socialize instead of really training lol

      Yeah 100% Usually it's better to be alone than with people who drag you down and hinder your progress all the time.
