RPCS3 is using CPU way more than GPU For example you can run 5600x + rtx 4090 and get like 40ish fps in God of War 3 or you might run 9800x3d + rtx 3050 and get around 100 fps in God of War 3

FORCED TAA Usually work around about this is either disable TAA in ini files (all UE5 games have ini files with settings) or try upscalers like DLSS/FSR and pull sharpness sliders a bit more to the right

Cannot say for sure , but can be: 1. Faster cpu 2. Faster RAM speeds and etc =) Lots of reasons, but for example my friend with 5800x3d + 6800 xt - gets around 80 fps without upscalers, and 100+ with FSR

MH WILDS is prolly the least optimized RE engine game rn, but Capcom did say that they are gonna fix optimization during FULL release (in feb 2025)

Are you playing in ultra or high? 1080, 2k or 4k?

@@MichaelDevelops ryzen 9 3900xt I'm quite sure it's not being CPU bottlenecked. Usage is around 30-40% max in game, while the 3080ti is in high 90s.

The game is very demanding, though I play it at 4k/60 with max and just Shadows and Shaders on Medium and RT Off. I can use DLSS Performance cos 4k. Also, be sure to install the Ultra Plus mod on Nexuxmods, as that helped me a lot. The game is very demanding though so I might just end up playing at 1440p on my monitor soon instead of 4k (VRAM is not the issue, it's purely just the GPU usage hitting 99%). I have 5800x3d so you will probably notice the stutters a bit more than me (the mod I mentioned helps that a LOT), but I think you will get similar performance anyway (3080 is only 10-15% weaker I think). You are probably already playing the game, but I hope that helps!

Probably similar, but a bit less - afaik 3080 ti is around 20% faster than 3080. Game runs pretty well without RT, but you will totally benefit from faster cpu like 5800x3d, like person above me mentioned

Agree, game totally benefit from faster CPU. One of my friends has 5800x3d + 6800 XT combo, game runs faster for them

@@AIexLay hi there, it might be not due to amount of ram, but it's speed For example when I had r5 2600 and 2333 mhz ram game had one performance, when I upgraded to 3000 mhz - I've got like 30% more fps Ryzen cpus rely on ram speed a lot

1080p need a good cpu if u want high fps..that's y cpu benchmark run game in 1080p..

I haven't played Twisted metal in a while, but i think on latest version of PCSX2 (aka 2.1) it should be ok. This video is pretty old (version here is far below 2.1)

@@UncleKaz hey I recently looked at it again. the ISo I was using was missing the cutscenes. I think it might of had something to do with the region given some of the games content. Using a disc I acquired it works as intended.

Hi there, it depends per game to be honest. All i can say is that R5 7600x is way faster than 3600x and you will probably get way more fps than me, but it may vary per game. Most demanding games are God of War 3, Last of Us, Infamous and a few others

Yes, pretty much true in big cities with lots of NPC performance can tank. You can try reducing NPC quanity from high to medium

In this game they are kinda the same 4070 super wins because it runs cooler and has framegen, but FSR3 framegen works nearly the same as NVIDIA one and you can use it on any 3000 series card Tl;dr if you want cheaper option - go for 3080 ti, if you have extra cash - buy 4070 super

Well, im not an expert when it comes to Quadro cards, but those cards are mostly for work aka 3d modelling and other stuff and from a few vids i've seen, they are slower than their GAMING counterparts

El 5600x rinde prácticamente igual que el 5800x en juegos, ese juego no se beneficia en nada en esos 2 núcleos extras, si lo corres a mayor FPS en 4K es porque le quita carga al CPU, siendo este un juego que es demasiado CPU demandante, los X3D son los únicos que hacen una diferencia real

Game is very CPU intensive, it runs very bad on any intel lower than 12th gen, try reducing CLOTH quality

im same 5900x and a 3080ti 1440p low runs ok anything above is too stuttery to play

I don't rly check wattage, but my card shouldn't pull more than 300w - i have ASUS TUF rtx 3080 ti, totally depends on manufacturer

yea this is hellllla misleading, my 3080 ti 7800x3d combo is getting a bit under twice as much fps listed in vid

he should turn the cloth simulation to medio i saw a guy bottlenecking he 3080 non ti whit 5800x non at like 80% but as soon he put that on medium he gpu was on 100% only droping to 95% and going from 70 ish fps to 90-100

Yes - ideally 3080 ti should be paired with faster CPU (at least 5800x3d), but for now im still thinking whatever i should go for 5800x3d or wait a bit and switch to AM5 I will probablly do second test with cloth simulation turned to *medium*, like julionx9 suggested, but main purpose of that video was to show how this combo of cpu and gpu works in game on ultra settings with DLSS in 2k But considering insane amount of enemies and CPU usage (which goes to 70-80% in most big scenes) it's kinda obvious that game is relying on CPU way more than GPU

@@xpoint9629 high and very high are very similar tbh I've got 3080ti only recently (had 3070 before) and so far having a blast But if u d like to change gpu Better jump to 4080 or 4080 super, because stuff like 4070 ti is barely 15% faster than 3080 ti, unless you count framegen

@@xStriker888 hi there, it is possible to hit 60/1440p with dlss performance (if you are playing on rtx 3080 (non ti version)) with very high settings, however I don't rly recommend it since high and very high looks almost identical Cinematic preset looks better in terms of shadows, but imo fps drop doesn't worth it If u rly need to play very high preset,, I recommend to turn everything to very high except shadows and reflections (leave em at high)

Pretty decent PC, but if you can i suggest to take RTX 3080 instead of 3070 (it's a bit more, but it's totally worth it)

@@UncleKaz its cost 50% more money for 25% more fps not worth it for me. i will use 1080p and dlss that will be smooth and lot of fps... i upgrade from fx-8320 and 1060 xd

I think it's got fixed in recent patches. Make sure to update your game to the latest version - also i playd on latest nvidia driver (if i remember correctly it was driver issue)
