We have family with a cabin on one of the nearby lakes. I have been to the show numerous times, but never landed at OSH. However, I have landed several times at Appleton for the show and the service has always been first class. But, I always wanted to try landing at OSH and was concerned about the procedures. However, your video made it seem pretty straightforward. Thanks!

Great Video! For anyone who’s new to this, one thing to remember is that anything involving videography will entail VAST amounts of post production. This will require you to not only become a proficient pilot but to master various editing software as well. It’s very difficult to price when you’re starting out because your hours spent editing will far outnumber your flight hours. With so many avenues opening up in the UAS field like thermal mapping then combining it with a 3D model for data analysis. Agriculture and crop analysis, infrastructure inspections will be a big part of the industry going forward. Just try not to limit yourself to one avenue when there are so many paths to take. At this point I’m just an Uber for my UAVs. I preprogram the flight missions on my laptop, drive to the site and hit play. The UAV takes off, collects all the data I need and lands on its own. It’s wild when you think about what we’re able to do with aircraft now. I’m amazed by it everyday.

Please. This is for a drone business, not Google. I am sure that this is all good information, but way too much for an individual looking to get started day one. Go to 15:30 of the video and listen to the 5 points she is making and then review the entire video if you want a IN DEPTH view from someone who is qualified to write corporate business plans.
