I've been thinking of relinquishing my parental rights due to being abused by my ex wife emotionally, financially, and physically. They are my rights after all, just like a woman has the right to an abortion and yet, states don't want to allow it, thus keeping kids in abusive situations, cuz the parents are toxic. Somethings just aren't meant to FORCED. I used to think all deadbeat were a bad thing but now I realize that not all deadbeats are voluntary deadbeats. It's like how there are good people in prison. Some parents HAVE TO remove themselves from the lives of theirs children simply because the other parent is to abusive or not allowing visitation. My BPD ex wife is doing this exact thing to me, and the mental abuse is hell. The states (collectivelly). just don't want to be burden with the cost of raising a child. Well, they should stop incentiving parents to use tools that further destroy the family. I.e family court. It has done more harm than good in my opinion. Sometimes you have to loose the battle to win the war. #TheArtOfWar

What should I do… we have 50/50, but she gets the benefits, I have been pleading with the courts that my kids mother has been in and out of rehab/jail and that I have been with the children solely for nearly 3years now… they refuse to listen and even when THEY KNOW she is in jail I still get charged for support for the month. Is there anything I can file with the superior courts to get my case reviewed and overturned??? Even when our son was on MY LEASE they still charged me child support!!! The system is total bullshit but what can I do if anything to get my case reversed???

I like your video on the appeal process. I have a question for you though. I recently took a driver to court who hit my car. The amount I was claiming was for $9500 which cover all my cost plus the damage done to the vehicle which was around $6000. The judge and defendant acknowledged that she hit my car. However they claim that I was asking for more than my claim was worth and she did not side with either one of us. Instead she said zero for me and zero to them. In Arizona we are an at fault state. I was only asking for the car damage and my time. I believe the judge did not see this clearly. I want to appeal this. Should I?

We need to get these people out of our pockets. I'm sick of this, my money and children are none of the governments business. I work for that money, that child is my child, how did we get here and why aren't we stopping them ? I am going through this now. I gross $64,000 a year. After taxes, healthcare, social security, income (out of my paycheck) I net $34,000 a year. Child support is 1/2 of my net income. So I now live off $17,000. I make $64,000 and when it’s all said and done I live at the poverty line - my ex wife lives in a paid off house, drives a paid off car, bills are paid out of her trust and her dad. I live with my parents, pay my bills and have about $20.00 at the end of the month if I am lucky. I couldn’t even take my kids out to get ice cream last week because I only had $6 in my account. If I get a second job, she told me she will go after that too. I “make” too much money for government assistance because they just look at gross annual income. Additionally, I am not entitled to the tax benefits of the kids either even though I am the one paying. My ex has completely taken the joy out of marriage and family. I will NEVER under any circumstance re-marry.

Mental health is increasingly in the forefront in this country. But Family court judges seem to think that it is either extremely rare or not a serious threat to children. I would always caution in favor of an evaluation on behalf of the children. These are devastating conditions, and some are believed to be learned. You can save a child's life, simply by doing an evaluation. It should almost be done perfunctorily, if the goal is finding what's in the best interest of the children.

What if your ex that tried to kill you and abused you and you even have proof and documentation of being a victim has put it in the decree that you get a psychological evaluation I spoke with an attorney today and they told me there is a statute that states that a victim of abuse Should not undergo a psychological evaluation in the state of Oklahoma yet my ex was able to get that into the decree that was not ordered by the judge to begin with that does not have to happen in order for custody, but he is trying to get that in the decree, the case has already been closed in court yet it is still openI do not understand

The last thing is if you pay child support for example $300 the child's mother and children will only get $200 the other money goes to interest and goes to penalties and goes to fees different kinds of fees and the documented fact that none of that money goes to the kids or their mom and goes to a retirement fund for judges and the government and politicians and that's not right because technically if you think about it child support is taking that money out of your children's plate out of your children's pockets out of your children's mouth because those interests and those fees I would rather have all the money to the kids in their own hands so they can go buy what they need not have the system charged all kinds of interest and fees😢

Does here is the big problem child support is a fraud and a scam that was created by the welfare system that's how it's automatically all connected together so if a father goes to jail or if the father is not living in the same house 🏡 then that's when the crooked system kicks in is documented and people have done investigations and documentaries about this matter it's a serious serious issue and DCFS Monterey Park California violated my constitutional rights all off of hearsay verbally without 1% of evidence and it's terrible because my little kid cries and says I miss you daddy but I cannot call her or go see her😢 because I'll be arrested for trespassing or restraining order or whatever it's called
