I’m going for a school trip in February we are going for a week I’m pretty excited!
@@Jenniferrrrrrrrrrrrrrr We hope you have a magical time, if your driving up through 120 please stop by the Yosemite Basecamp in Groveland ca

The boys and I, are really excited for our winter trip with Echo adventures. Worth every penny to get professionally guided to where all the big ones are!
@@tonydiaz6322 happy to have you!
Looks like a darn good time!
Whats the rod length and weight? The reel wt? Thanks,

Some tanks. Nice work brother!
@@FreeFormFlyFisher thx this was last season
I was just in there 2 weeks ago. Didn’t catch anything but it’s So peaceful and beautiful in there so glad it is still untouched and pristine
@@DEADIKATED we have been doing great! Big catches posted weekly on our instagram!
@@echocoop Awesome I hope to go back soon and partake
Nice fish. Was that not a steelhead?
@@Popcornbeetle no came up from a lake
Are u allowed to bring yr own jeep tj? If so how much for that price to just tag along on a overland tour???
I'm pretty sure you have to drive one of theirs, but definitely give them a holler and ask! Its a fun day!
@@p.m4874 we do not know but you can contact Miller off-road jeep tours for any trip questions!
What happened to the forest??? Looks like forest fire char along with massive logging! Why would anyone want to drive through that?
That is mostly from the 2013 RIM Fire which was incredibly devastating. The crazy thing is though, it is so freaking beautiful now! The forest used to be thick and dense, and now you can see the Tuolumne River Canyon, wildlife and wild flowers! Highly recommended!!
My father had a gold claim on that river
What area are in sir or you don't want any body to know
Groveland ca The title says Tuolumne River
Fishing with you guys was fun, thanks for the memories
Anytime friend!
Nice.👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice ! Those are some big rainbows! Are you guys on the Kern?
No we are located in Groveland ca North gate Yosemite area
Oh heck yeah! Solid trip fellas. I want so badly to fly fish a river like that. Just a beauty
Hit us up the time is right now! Echocoop.com
Bang! Nice fish.
Love your videos! It’s so interesting how there aren’t as many people fishing the area of the sierra you guys do even though there are massive fish to be caught. Those stack mends at 1:48 are a true feat of athleticism😅
People don’t like to hike I guess????
Maybe if it’s not in a brochure then they assume there’s no fish @@echocoop
Awesome video Bryant. Such gorgeous fish and those underwater release shots were cherry.
Thanks bro
Is that the Merced River?
No
Groveland ca
Nice video mate! I'm a new subscriber.
Thanks and welcome
Nice fish!
Thanks!
Love that River! I think I recognize those spots, especially the last one. The first spot looks like a place on that river where I broke my fly rod a few years ago on my birthday 😂 My dad and I now have tradition to go back to the Merced outside the park to fish around my birthday in October.
Some lifetime fish going down right now! Great thumbnails on your channel by the way!
Thanks! I use Canva and it’s really easy to use. @@echocoop
Some tanks. Super healthy too. You really riding your bike back out of there?
Yea riding is good for the heart and soul!
@echocoop I agree, but man, you are a beast. Especially on snow and ice hahaha. If I was landing fish like that, I guess I'd probably do it too haha.
What a great adventure with a great friend and guide, Bryant Burnette! His knowledge always helps me get on fish! I’d recommend him to anyone wanting to fish this area.
Awesome thank you!
Really crisp into 🤙🏽 love the content, went ahead and smashed that subscribe button. Keep on fishin’ on 🎣
Thank you !

It sucks when I try to fish my local creeks, and Echo has a bunch of city folk ruining it. Seen these people for that past several years, and they have been really upsetting some locals. Their fly shop is expensive and overrated.
Hey Jared, thanks for your feedback! Just a few thoughts if I may, we are a worker owned cooperative that is literally made of up Groveland locals. Granted some of us have only lived in Groveland for 15 years or so, but the rest of us were born and raised on the waters we fish! We get your frustration though, in fact, we actually started our cooperative because we were tired of seeing visitors ruining our waters, and out of town companies exploiting the lands. This way we can teach sustainable fly fishing techniques while keeping our river healthy and the city folks safe. Oh and one last note, our Yosemite Basecamp Fly Shop is bound by MSRP rules (we literally can't be overpriced) but we do give anyone with a T-county driver's license a 15% discount! Anyway, thanks for giving us a chance to brag a little and we hope to see you out there! Come say hi next time and we'll tell what's hitting.
@@ElisabethBarton How do you keep our waters clean and others from ruining it? Pick up trash during Yosemite facelift occasionally. Brag, ha.
@ElisabethBarton Echo has literally ruined one creek that was very dear to me and some freinds.
@ElisabethBarton And when you say "come on in and we'll tell yah what's bitting", I don't need that. And you should let people figure ot out themselves instead of blowing things up.
Good evening Jared, Come in anytime to chat. We’re always open to hearing your thoughts and finding ways for all of us to enjoy the rivers.
This is very informative. Well done. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
semantics, its still a bobber
I don't think anyone is arguing with you. but it sure is amusing.
Hello. I'll be in Yosemite in a week. What place and flies do you recommend for fly fishing? .. i will be staying at the cedar lodge .. will there be somewhere near the road ??? and what licenses do i need? I am from Puerto Rico ..
our outfitter is located in Groveland CA. feel free to look us up or give us a call, fly recommendations and area depend on the time you are here.

In fly fishing, they identify as indicators! 😉
Great video
Thank you!
Always wanted to fish this area.. would be nice to know who the guide is! Please.
Bryant Burnette he works for us echo coop.com
Thanks for the update, Bryant! Glad the flows came down finally.
This guy is the real deal… my family and I spent two days with him in the summer and it was nothing short of magical. Fly fishing for the first time whilst having el’cap as a backdrop. You’ve just found your local Fly Guide! Trust me Mr H (England)
Thanks Mr.H we feel the same here at echo, we’ll keep him!
That first fish was a tank. Awesome footage
Yea I’m bummed I missed it but we can’t win all the time.
Does this section really have nice swimming holes for kids? Or would there be nicer ones in gold country or nearby?
I would not swim here as the river can change without notice of fluctuation
That’s awsome
It was a lot of fun!
Looks like you had a good time. But there are thousands of videos where people show themselves catching fish. Big woop to us that do that too! I was interested in what set up you used . What worked what didn't. Where did you actually go, as you mentioned upper then lower... To what , the dam? You want people to watch more of your production your going have to be a hell of lot more informative. You obviously know your fishing, what can you share to make it really worth my time to watch and maybe learn something?? I want try the Tuolumne some time soon. It would be nice to know some pointers from you to actually do so. Tight lines to you..
That comes at a price friend! echocoop.com to book your trip
@@echocoopwouldn't want to guide that ah
@@5over10 why?
I've seen Browns in there 3' long.

Thank you ! I really appreciate it!
Holy cow. Some monsters. Nice video B!
Thx…. Hope to see you this winter on the T, stop by the shop for intel….
Some nice looking fish!
We are very lucky to have some amazing fisheries around Yosemite and Groveland CA
Lu….n road is pretty darn steep…how did the E bike do? What brand and model if you don’t mind answering?
Bosch battery system but I can’t remember the bike brand maybe giant
What time of year was this?
fall, fall, winter, and spring are the best times up here!
Hello, I just finished a weekend of fishing staying in groveland! Caught quite of few dinks and no fish of quality size. I didn’t see your shop when I looked at fly shops or else I would’ve stopped in:(. At least I know for next time. Do you have any location recommendations? I fished the south and middle fork of the Tuolumne.
We are located 11892 Ponderosa Lane in downtown Groveland. The heat is making fishing on small creeks pretty unsustainable, so right now we are sticking to high country lakes or dam controlled rivers like the Tuolumne. Come in and see us when you get back to Groveland and we can help you find the right spot.
we are located off the main street near the tesla charging stations, consider fishing in the fall, winter, or spring.
Beautiful, is this the spot you take people on the guided trips?
Mostly fall and winter
