My name is Chris and I love fixing and tinkering with small engines and cars! And I love making tutorials and repair videos with my equipment as well just to help out! along with mowing lawns and getting a nice view of mother nature at its best!
I also will make content about knives and diecast toys and models to. I rarely do gameplays anymore but still here and there.
Im also a big anime lover (or a weeb) I may post some anime related things here and there but probably not much.

Our entire riding lawn mower fleet, 7 total!
(I know it’s pretty damn sad how only 2 are running and working properly and we have 4 others plus 1 more not seen in the video that all need work or are inoperable.)
The Cub Cadet XT1 and John Deere LX277 were both 2 free projects.
The Cub Cadet should definitely mow again no problem. If I can get another engine we should be perfectly fine!
And the John Deere is a whole another story.

After installing new fuel lines, fuel filter, and a primer bulb I actually was able to get it running. So the 128LD now has the correct attachment with it now. When I first got it, it had a curved shaft. I put my 128LD spare straight shaft on it and the right gearbox for it as well, I just needed the right guard for it. Completely pointless video lol, But thought it’d be kinda cool to see as i already had it somewhat torn down again. Swapped carbs once again. Back to the original walboro carb that I thought leaked. The aftermarket carb I had on this trimmer earlier stater flooding the engine really badly out of nowhere. Next video I’ll explain it a bit more.

Here’s the FC75 edger as a straight shaft string trimmer. New air filter and pre-filter, New fuel filter. I am still gonna replace the spark plug and maybe the fuel tank grommets. Will most likely need carb work. This carb design only has 1 fuel mixture screw and one single fuel line which is for the fuel filter/pick up line. It was running decent here but most of the time I have to run it on half choke. But it’s definitely alive just not well.

Hi i got one, after pressing trigger, when running do they just shut off if not pressing trigger within few seconds
Right after it starts you can let it idle and keep it choked for a few seconds. Then turn the choke off. I just did it differently
This video was very helpful in that it gave me a good idea about what the repair job would entail without even having to go look at the tool. However it is an even easier (faster) job than this. It turns out there is no need to remove the housing. The four screws on the primer bulb plate are all quite accessible as is. There is also sufficient clearance to remove and replace it. Two of the 4 screws are completely open, the other two are mostly exposed - just firmly press on the housing to slightly move it out of the way so you can get a screwdriver on them.

What’s the difference between fs and km?
@@mmz77 a FS model is a string trimmer. Weather it’s curved or not FS means trimmer. KM stands for the Kombi model. Aka the spilt shaft with interchangeable attachments, trimmer, edger, polesaw, hedge trimmer, etc.

My brother has a fs90r. These trimmers are powerful but it seems like the throttle can’t be modulated like a two stroke. It’s either no throttle or full with these it seems.
@@mmz77 yep exactly. You can’t feather the throttle on these lol.

@@mannyloko4504 i actually haven’t seen this vehicle in over a year. I don’t know what’s happened to it. My grandfather owned it but he used to just let it run and idle like literally all the time. So yeah it has developed a bit of a lifter tick.

What type of gas do they take?
@@nintendo8328 50:1 gas+oil mix. Mix 2.6 fluid ounces of 2 stroke oil with 1 single gallon on gasoline. Home depot, Lowe’s, quality equipment etc. they all sell individual bottles of 2 stroke oil. Find ones that contain 2.6 fluid ounces. And mix it with your gallon of gas and your hood to go.

That's the rev limiter in neutral, try drive. Or just tune it
Yep. There’s a way to bypass a stock rev limiter. I’ve never personally tried it but if you put the gear selector in between Park and Reverse it actually bypasses it and you can rev higher

@@jcsgarage8052 the 22T Shindaiwa is awesome. Personally I think it’s far better than the echo 225’s. Honestly I kinda think $150 is a bit much for one of these. Even in pretty decent shape.

The RedMax doesn’t appear to be one of the stratocharged engines. It’s only 22cc’s actually
@@christopherchang115 correct it is pre stratocharged all bcz models are stratocharged the Z in the model number indicates stratocharge I prefer the pre stratocharged machines

@@jcsgarage8052 to be honest I’m not to sure, I know husqvarna bought out RedMax. But this is a Japanese RedMax from 2013. I couldn’t imagine it would be really super similar to any husqvarna. I very well could be wrong but then again I’m not to sure

The mufflers always seem to rust on em, took mine off gave it a sand and spray with that matt black BBQ paint worked a treat stopped it rotting 👍. Nothing wrong with looking after you Gear bro 👍 makes total sense

Will that light stay off long enough to drive it 50-100 miles to make sure it passes a SMOG test?
Yes, when you reset this maintenance required light it should stay off for 4,000 or 4,500 miles. Whatever mileage it’s set for the maintenance interval.
