This author, Brandon Sanderson, seems somewhat interesting. I like the story plot about the characters losing their powers and becoming zombies. How does the story end ? I really like your bookshelf. You should do an ASMR bookshelf type of video, or something similar. Or, maybe an ASMR book video. It's just an idea. 😍

I personally really like Nami. I do like how in the live actions she actually got to fight and stuff.

I mean, Nami is just a teenager growing up in shitty environment. Not to mention she got burlap sacked at age 10 while watching her mother got street executed by the same people who kidnapped her, Nami would be a straight up villain if she's in another show moreover DC

one thing i didn’t appreciate about the live action is that nami feels nothing like the character in the anime/manga. they hit the important marks of her arc, sure, but removed the most core flaws of her character. she is supposed to be a weak fighter and is greedy to a fault, but these aspects were reduced, if not completely absent from the live action. and i completely agree with you on how removing her fun-lovingness and making her unnecessarily stoic for some reason lessened the impact of the ”help me” scene! so frustrating!!! i was one of the people who watched the live action first, and nami felt like such a nothing character for me then. i’m so glad i decided to check out the anime, i was pleasantly surprised how much more i enjoyed her character. anyways, great video! i randomly stumbled across your channel and really enjoy your one piece content! 🫶🏻

I think the main reason what the author did not mention a time frame is because of this: These mentalities, behaviors, and psychological aspects continue to exist and are practiced generation after generation. This is true in different cultures and true in different time frames or era's throughout history, from ancient times and today. Observe closer within the toxic family dynamics. There are fathers and mothers who teach these toxic mentalities to their daughters. Young girls and women being taught at early ages in their childhood not to embrace their inner feminine power becomes deeply rooted in their psyche. That trauma is done to young girls within their family. Thanks for sharing this book and about the movie.
