That reminds me of the 5 Pesetas 1880 Peru, when it was under spanish rule, thati scored on eBay. The seller was in Peru and i'm sitting in Germany, waiting for the notification from customs. They sent it back, without even talking to me. I only know about it, calling DHL and waiting 20 min in line. That was a real bummer, when a customs agent decides, that a small package from Peru is "suspect" or something like that.

Where do you find all these great old holders? Never mind the fact they have excellent coins in them! So many have been cracked out, I only find dogs in the old photo grade/certified and the like holders from the 70’s & 80’s.

I have a currency specimen of this coin with autumnal toning and in OGH graded MS65 - it doesn't seem to have the weaknesses you described however. Nice coin there...

Splendid set of coins. The most beautiful commemorative coins ever made in my country. It's a shame that collectors here aren't interested in important pieces. To this day, I've only seen this set on display here.
