wpx cw contest is always fun here is a short clip on 10 meters work about 25 countries just on Saturday, 10 was the less active of all the other bands, but i still manage to have fun.

Just got this new toy, unboxing and testing, put my big Ameritron al-1500 to the test digital watt meter been wanting one for a while this one looks different has lots of information that i would never understand, seems to be accurate, is fun to use has allowed me to fine tune my amp for max power. tells me how much power reflect is coming back, etc, im very happy with my purchase.

For the video purpose i decided to push the AL-1500 to the legal limit, or close to it with very low drive. the ic 7610 and the AL-1500 Play very well together, I'm not a serious contester i just want to make contacts in RTTY mode. Warning this amp would surpass the legal limit very easy. I Keep the drive under 30 watts, it would cruise at 1500 watts very nicely,

i just got the action 4 i decided to mount it on my avata and compare the two the action 4 is out the box no settings done to it the avata is the same fully on auto, i find the avata is more colorful the action 4 has lots of adjustments to improved the video or image, here is my short flight test.
