Girl pls throw away any book written by colleen hoover,they are trash and simply not worth reading, and about your ex being at a party i really loved y’all but if you think it isn’t going to work out you have to let go in order to not get yourself hurt further break ups are bad but they shape you into a better person in terms of understanding who you are as a person and what do you want but i still hope things would work out cause i think you guys are perfect for each other wish you all the best in your future and college is big so you won’t be meeting him that much i guess.

so real about reading spicy romance books to fill the void 😫 the roommate actually sounds really good 😭 i don’t read much contemporary romance, but i do read historical romance (think: bridgerton) and they get pretty spicy as well!! on the topic of exes, ive always been in the camp of absolutely no contact- deleting all forms of communication, pictures, putting away gifts/memories for the time being. giving yourself time to heal properly away from it all really helps me. when you’re still keeping a connection, even if it’s “as friends”, it prevents you from fully moving on and accepting that your relationship is over. and even though it freaking sucks- it has to be done. leaning into your hobbies and friends is great, but only time will really heal you!! be kind and patient with yourself, be sad and depressed, don’t pressure yourself to be happy or act like you’re over it if you’re not, live in how you truly feel, because it will eventually pass. i’ve watched so many of your videos but never commented and it feels like i’m talking to a friend, hope this doesn’t come across weird 😭 much love!! ❤️

personally, i hate the "popular tiktok romance novel" "unhinged published smut" genre, for many reasons, so i wouldn't recommend 'ugly love' or any colleen hoover book, i haven't read it on my own time but i've watched videos of other people reading it and then criticizing it (for entertainment purposes) and i can confirm that it is quite a questionable novel (much like all of colleen hoover's books)
