The 22lr round is capable of much more than most people think. I have a pre last shot hold open model 60. And contrary to what alot believe shorts and longs can be shot out of a 22lr only marked gun, In the case of the semi auto 60 it would be like a single shot straight pull bolt action. As far as a 22 bouncing around inside something, that's a fkn myth. If it had the energy to bounce around in something it would have the energy to pass through. Of course it can be deflected like any other bullet but it surely doesn't bounce around in something. People that believe that age old tall tale certainly has little if any personal experience shooting a 22 lr. Also, contrary to popular belief, a 22lr, provided the bullet is a 40 gr solid, has ample penetration capabilities. Any cheap bulk round will punch through a 2x4. I personally find a 40 gr solid is the best for penetration, and I have had better performance and reliability from the lowly regarded remington thunderbolt than the cci mini mags
The problem I ran into with this gun. Is. A bent trigger bar.. I just bent it back in place.
kits themselves are 600-650$ now so yea...thats without a barrel or receiver/rivets..I recall back in 2011 or 2013 they were like 600 for a full gun. those surplus kit builds are definitely better than commercial ones like zpaps etc the metal is just much higher quality i suppose those guns were built for actual war
These average 850 used today. Have not appreciated too much being a century parts kit with US receiver and US non-hammer forged barrel
Just an odd question but shouldn’t there be a round chambered in order for the gun to function ….. just wondering

@@prepper2711 I’m pretty sure it does as a round needs to be chambered then the gun will fire causing the slide to go back and thus chambering another round
I might try this with a platter from a Hard Drive and 3M VHB Tape.

Never seen an AK in real life. I put a Polish Hellpup 11.7" on layaway the other day. I don't know crap about 'em, but I hope someone will help guide me putting a red dot and folding brace on it. It's supposed to have the side rail thing for a mount. I got it for a vehicle gun. RockOn.StayFree.
Get a LBE trigger..45$ alg is nice but not worth the price..its a basically a tapco 3 Ive got 4 of them installed on my aks

@@prepper2711 the one I mentioned has a 3 1/2 pound pull and short uptake...mokas has mak90 triggers for 30$ those are super smooth and crisp..i have a MAK 90 and will not change anything but furniture on that rifle...LBE trigger is a nice upgrade

🇦🇺😎👍I own a Remlin 30/30. The one with the plywood stock. After firing about 700 rds the action is beautifully smooth and reliable. However about 100 rds ago I had to leave the gun range with a jammed action. I was using factory ammunition at the time and the lever was jammed vertically. . That put me on the back foot. Not too sure if that is common as the loading ramp was caught up against the lever. When I released the lever screw the lever dropped out fixing the jamb. Not too comfortable with that issue and hoping it never happens again… great video🏁
@bigtrev761 I have never run into that problem with my gun. Did you ever get a chance to take it apart? And see if there was a Burr. Or just a piece of debris in your gun.

I already know what your problem is. Your gun is used and might have not gotten fixed. Go get a new one and you won't have any problem.
I actually like my 982 more than my 870.
Look on the box and see if it is a “ SPECIAL CONFIGURATION” some of the Sig guns were built for some type of agency. Sometimes they are built with certain types slides,sights, triggers. If it was like I said someone tried to do shifty gunsmithing.

I am not sure. It's possible. It would make sense if you're not getting oil pressure. it might automatically throw it into limp. mode. I hope this helps you. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I replaced my trigger bar. But the problem is. A bent trigger bar. You can bend it back. But it's better to replace it. I got my trigger bar from a company called armory craft. I hope this helps. I have a full build video coming out as soon as get parts

Well a 17 is a 22 magnum necked down to a 17 caliber. That’s why they all interchange magazines
I too went with an Amazon CV-Life 4x16 scope and have been pretty happy. Now I did upgrade to some quality mounts and a solid 0 MOA top rail. My bi-pod also was $20 off Amazon. All that mounted to my savage 93 22 mag and stretch it out to 300 yards often , with the right ammo. Cheap ammo, 150 yards, good ammo 300 + yards
I think you're timeline on that gun is way off and I don't believe you have original Blueing But it is a beauty take care of it.
The wood furniture goes hard
