Prof. Dhruv Sen Singh is renowned teacher, Centre of Advanced Study in Geology, University of Lucknow (Accredited A++ by NAAC) India. He has 32 years of experience in teaching and research, primarily in the areas of Climate Change, Sedimentology, Glaciology, Rivers of Ganga Plains and natural hazards. He has published over 77 research papers in international/ national journals.

His Book "The Indian Rivers: Scientific and Socio-economic Aspects" from Springer, 2018 is the only book of its kind in the world and has about 28k download.

Dr. Singh was member of first and second Indian Expedition to the Arctic (North Pole Region) in 2007 and 2008. He is recipient of Vigyan Ratna Award in 2010 by Council of Science and Technology Government of UP. He has also received by Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, the highest award of ‘Sikchhak Shree’ in 2013 and Saraswati Samman in 2014. In 2022, he was honoured by GOI by National Geoscience Award of 2019.
