Kurt Russell is a great actor.
The only thing I like about this extended scene is that John Ruth explains he'll reimburse them for the guns he throws down the toilet. I never got in the theatre release why they don't protest him dismantling and chucking their iron away, considering a colt was an expensive side arm back in those days.
Probably cuz they had other guns hidden away anyway…

@@rockoperajon This whole scene would put Oswaldo, Joe Gage and Bob in a tough spot in the eyes of the audience and considering the fact that later on we find out all 3 of them were there to free Daisy, it was too early in the movie to mark them as suspects. Plus it's similar with the way Major Warren is later directing them on what to do and where to stand but at this point there was no justification for such treatment by John Ruth.
I love this part of thier conversation in the wagon on the way to the cabin!😂😂😂Now it begins 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾❤️

I see why the scene was deleted- it makes evident that John has disclosed them .
I spent basically this entire movie(except the last 30 minutes or so) trying to figure out who the 8 were.

@@popeyen7550 Well ya but the guy hiding under the floors wasn't revealed until the end. I had Samuel, The Hangman, his bounty chick, the Confederate fanboy/Sheriff, the Spanish guy, Australian guy and the Coffee poisoner. That's 7. The General was hateful but all he could do is sit there and bitch so I never really considered him worth being one of the 8 the title is supposed to be based on. So I was confused until the floorboards dude shot Samuel in the balls.
