Some reason somehow I feel I like and love this movie in the same way as I feel the same reason of how I say in the beginning it's a good movie and it has a whole lot meaning to the movie when you watched a couple times over and over it's a good one
The avg man has ZERO hate in his heart for a gay man. We dont like it when grown men act feeble, and child like, what ud call acting like a little girl or princess, we hate it in women too. I have known a few gay men and theyve been kind, considerate, respectful and strong, as depicted in this film
Carl is so blunt. He doesn't mince words at all. If Dole had ever taken a single second to notice Carl he would have known that Carl meant business when he said he aims to kill him.
Karl ending Doyle is iconic and oh so well deserved regarding Doyle. One of the worst villains meets a lawnmower blade head first, the droning music only adding to it. Spectacular performances by all.
Billy Bob is an amazing actor, haven't seen a movie thats he's in that i haven't liked. Seen a clip of a interview where he as fast as one can blink breaks right into the character of karl, then right back to hisself again.
Another 9/11 future reference same as in Terminator 2, Big, The Big Lebowski, Glory, Die hard 3, and many others. When 9/11 is shown then something gets split in 2 or destroyed like in Terminator 2 when the semi rig crashes in the middle in the viaduct while the viaduct height is 9.11
john's almost whispered "i will"...superb, probably easy with how good billy sold it, ritter was so great, 1 of 5 actors i actually miss as if i knew them, the gay storyline probably meant a lot to many viewers at the time, heck it was a big deal you'd think would give the film more recognition, gotta love the accents, REAL accents are beautiful and add a lot..seldom used today
I know someone who was off their med and did the same thing...stab a guy and then called the police on themself. Got lock up in a psych ward prison but was out in 5 years on parole.
I'm not sure if he did but Billy Bob Thornton should have won an academy award
Loved this movie. Wonderful actors!😅
Why in my memory did this movie release in the late 2000s? I swear I saw this at award shows in the late 2000s more around 2010.
Lucas Black carrying large sack of clothes and BBT asking “ whatchu got in thar, warsh?” 😁
This is STILL my favorite movie of all time.
It always blows me away that that is Billy Bob Thorton
Gotstuh git yourself a belly full of biscuits before they take ye away
A heartbreaking movie, I'm 66 and this one is the best.
Was stronger a man than anybody else. He sacrificed what is likely the rest of his life so that boy could have a good one.
A Mercury is real good car.
No blood spatter!!!

Nuch like comedy Carl comes in threes
"OK, hearse it is!"...
If you've ever wanted... this is cartharsis. Bar None.

One of the most powerful pieces of Cinema ever.
Great movie 👌
It ain't got no gas in it
Sling Blade.... Landman.... Compare that to any character that Dennis Hopper ever played.
Did you film this with a phone while watching it on tv??? 😂
Insane movie, Billy Bob I want my 686 Million!
Such an amazing actor he is
My wife laughs so hard when I go to Chick-fil-A and do a perfect request for a mustard biscuit.
My hubs can do it too 😅
Part of me believes Doyle knew it was coming and wanted it.

Karl sent Doyle a thousand miles from nowhere 😂
Carl didn't think the retard had it in him
Billy Bob is one of my all time favorite actors. Criminally underrated.

The unironically Good Southern rock band this cast could have been. 🎸 🔥 😂
He knows he's going to kill Doyle, and he kinda tries to stop him
Fucking John Ritter is so good in thid
It’s totally worth the $30+ to buy this film on hard copy.. no streaming platforms offer it. It’s getting harder and harder to find.
You know Carl's a good man because he didn't let it suffer. He made sure it was dead mhmm
This movie was amazing

0:08 Goddamn, is that Lucas Black as a kid??

It aint got no gas in it
Iconical
is it wrong of me to find the way he handles the whole thing funny
Dwight Yoakam nailed the asshole role 😂.
love me some biscuits with mustard
I reckon Doyle didn't suffer and that sucks that he didn't. I was so sad about that.
