That's true, you have to twist the paper clips like a twist tie to prevent them from pulling apart. A big enough fish has been known to bend out fish hooks as well. Good point!

A creek chub is really dark and has a stripe on his belly like a bass

Overall the fishing has been good, but the last cold snap really changed things. It should bounce back this week with the warmer weather returning. Once things freeze over in Mass. do you Ice fish?

Thanks Man! The fight in the fish is what makes fishing so much fun! Sometimes the smaller ones make for the best catches! My lightest rod is a Light power/fast action and I use 6lb. test on that as well. It's a blast to catch anything on it!
