Welcome to the Cavan Monaghan Creative Channel. This is where the creative work of young people from the Cavan Monaghan area will be showcased and archived, including initiatives such as Cruinniú na nÓg and the Creative Fridays Masterclass Series. This project is being coordinated by DabbledooMusic and proudly supported by Creative Ireland, Cavan County Council, Monaghan County Council and Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board.
Here We Are Now - Rehearsed Reading
Here We Are Now Rehearsed Reading is the culmination of a theatre co-creation project held in collaboration with Youth Work Ireland Cavan & Monaghan as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2023, led by performer-facilitators April Bracken and Cian Ó Náraigh.
Youth groups in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan participated in a series of creative workshops with Cian & April, exploring what matters most to them through games, writing exercises and devising scenes. But I still watch the OLIVER movie with fond memories, and I know every song off by heart! I even brought the Family to see it in the West End a few years back!
