In the 2023 Deer Season, I had tagged out for does and had one buck tag left! I was looking to get one more buck and tag out, but as my luck goes, 20 does came through in a herd and not one of them was a buck! I had purchased extra doe tags, so I did harvest another doe and donated her to Hunters For the Hungry.

Two does walk in on me, followed by a 7 point buck! I missed one due to hitting a branch again, then I kill one. The recovery was rough.... the deer fell down into a ravine.

I put up a ground blind for cold rainy days and hunting with my son early in the day and then go hunting that evening. A doe comes walking in the last 20 minutes of shooting light.

On this hunt, I double up and shoot a screaming button buck and a doe! This was my first time ever harvesting two deer in one hunt. Adam also takes a shot at a doe. The button buck in this video let's out blood curdling screams until his last breath. I have never heard a deer make such a sound like that.
