Yeah, I had my old computer when I wrote this. That thing was just stuttering along on it's last legs - no ability to scroll when I was recording, so had to attempt what I'd written down from memory, so my playing isn't bang on what I wrote. At the time, Eliana shared the vid via Instagram, which led to a brief DM convo. The positions I use for playing aren't absolutely 100% the way she approaches it, but there's more than 1 way on a bass to play the same notes. The way I approached the notes is what was comfortable for me, but then again , I'm a guitarist, not a bassist. Hope that helps!

​@@Highstrummer Haha gotcha, you matched it pretty closely in that case. Just a couple parts threw me off lol. It's cool you got to dm! I feel like most tabs probs aren't 100% accurate anyways. Tabs are kinda like rough sketches anywho (though it is nice when they are accurate) I really enjoy this tab, its more fun than the others I've found :p

I followed a guide on supposedly how Eddie did it. Apparently that extra white coat really helps the red to pop.

Looks exactly the same as it did the day the paint dried. Never bothered with a clear coat - as far as I'm aware, neither did Eddie. My project hasn't really progressed much beyond that point - the body route is absolutely terrible, and the wood at the bottom is only a few mm thick... I reckon I'll have another bash with a better body in future, but for now, this guitar is hanging on the wall in the studio until I can decide what to do with it.

​@Highstrummer Yeah that's exactly what I did. I tried moding my old disty beginner guitar at first, then I ended up with the same problem as you regarding the cavity. I just bought a precut body and neck for a floyd rose and it worked like a charm.

@CarlosSpiecyWeeny That's great. I may have another shot at a body in future. I now have the confidence that I can do a decent paint job.

I used Drop D, then transpose on the Kemper down a whole tone, so Drop C. Just didn't fancy setting-up my guitar that low as I've a gig to play in a few hrs.

It's easy when you know how it's done :) The intro for Bubbles used to catch me off guard until I noticed the downbeat is on the 2nd note, not the first. It then fits neatly into a few bars and the drums land on 1.

Nah, not on this one as it already had a top coat. To be honest I wasn't really caring if this came out rough as a badger's. It was a super cheap Chinese copy I was just sick of looking at. Considering I sprayed it with stuff that was just lying in the shed, it turned out pretty well.

yeah that's in the original, it sounds dissonant and it is, so damn good

Intro I'm splitting into groups of two notes, so it's like pick/hammer. The pre-chorus I'm bouncing from open string to fretted note, then hammer - of which I lternate picked the first two. Most of the chorus is just strumming.

@@Highstrummer nice one! I've been alternate picking the main riff and the pre chorus and its brutal! good practice though
