i love this song so much !!! the way i interpret it is wanting your partner to only focus on you, but they don’t so you hope for someone else. you feel like you have to preform, to keep them happy, but you can’t help but imagine something better than that for yourself. i think that mindset is pretty common when your partner has lusted after other people, watched something they shouldn’t have while you dated, and you can’t help but wonder why they’d need any of that when they have you so you give more and more for them in hopes you can bring their attention back to you. i think the music video it’s genius for the idea of having to “preform” in your relationship amazing song it’s been on repeat lately! :D
