moving here from philly, i hate my hometown. st louis has beautiful architecture!
Crime is way to high. I lived in Soulard for a few years. Neighbor was raped. My car was broken into twice. Possibility of being a crime statistic around every corner. It is a cool city, but this is why most people leave.
You forgot the cons.
Looooove your video, about St Louis I'm from Chicago my Brother & I are going to St Louis in September and I'm going to visit the Gateway Arch & I'm going to the top, and we're to ride the St Louis Wheel.
Mark Twain lived in St Louis for many years and stated: "St Louis does not have any weather; it just gets everyone else's".
The over-all St. Louis region is great and very safe. From watching the 10:00 News each night there are neighborhoods in the city where gunfire is heard throughout the night by residents so you need to know to avioid those areas. There are also areas pretty safe in the daytime hours but bad things can happen at night that are too close to those high crimer areas.
Con: You will probably be a crime victim. Possibly a violent crime.
I have lived here my entire life and crime is the same as everywhere there is poverty..for some strange reason every city has a GHETTO where they let crime eat each other…where redlining exist…I have never been shot at or robbed…the crime people report on the news is 95% personal beefs now there is a new thing where these beefs spill onto the highways and parties because people are looking for people who have also committed crimes against other people…they’re basically policing themselves in the worst way at a young age…crime is not my problem here…Racism is…it’s bold and blunt in surrounding counties not the city unless there’s a Cardinals game then the cops come to protect the white travelers smh while the poor live downtown daily with barely any resources or stores or anything…

How could you leave out the almost daily shootings and murders and the plethora of abandoned houses, buildings, and trap houses that pollute the city?
Unfortunately, that's the case in a lot of places. St. Louis has so many beautiful things that really make it come alive though!

@@msprealtystl3154 Thanks! I have been trying to find a classmate that was from St. Louis; I think...he's still lives there, but I haven't been able to trackball down, yet. I'm hoping that-if I do-I may be able to visit him there.
StTL has the stuff to make it a great city, but getting you cars broken into, robbed or shot is a little to steep of a price to pay
There are no pros to living in St Louis. Unless you like being shot, robbed, your car jacked.
This is a pretty oblivious comment. That's not our experience as locals.
Well I went to a family history building on michigan and someone stole my car. My friend was robbed downtown. All my friend go to St louis locked and loaded. If your talking county that's different. But St. Louis is not safe.

I'm sorry to have to say this but St.louis City is a crime cesspool, as a person born& raised in St.louis City please for your own safety donot live in this city, some surrounding communities are great but you better be packing your 9 millimetre living within this city proper.
Sorry you had a bad experience :( There are lots of places in the greater St. Louis area that I have had happy clients, as well as places in St. Louis City. St. Louis is such a big place, there's a place for everyone! If you're looking for the downtown life, there's a place for that, and there's a place for the quiet "suburbia" feel too!

When I visited St. Louis we went to the city museum and I had so much fun it was so cool it was partly close because of Covid I would like to go when Covid is done to see what the rest of it is like but it was so much fun
The City Museum is so much fun!! It's a giant playground that adults can enjoy too! I'm also looking forward to getting back to those places after covid has settled down a bit.
