I'm using the DJI Osmo Action 4, setting are 2.7K/16:9 @ 25fps, rocksteady enabled, with ND32 filter

Helmet audio has been a struggle for ages, I've eventually settled on using the Saramonic SR-C2003 (www.evetech.co.za/saramonic-female-3.5mm-trs-to-usb-c-microphone/best-deal/17614.aspx) plugged into the OSMO Action 4 and a generic lav mic. I do think that where you place the mic in the helmet makes a huge difference too. Currently, I have the mic pushed into the cheek pad. Hope that helps

@@CapeBiker Ahhh bud that's awesome. Thank you for the feedback. My GoPro 9 has gone on the blink too and I need to replace that. Look like I'm off to grab a Osmo and lav mic today 😁

@@CapeBiker if you want to liven up the 1090 experience, take the baffles out the exhaust. Your neighbours might not like you much after that, but it really brings out the v-twin rumble. 🤣 Bit of a fiddly process but totally doable.

@@BrokenCompassAdventures I was thinking that, but also might visit Podium Motorcycles first, they got lots of KTM stuff, might find a second-hand Wings exhaust👍

Custom shorty... was a full size, and we cut it to 3/4 length and removed the baffle. Cant remember the original maker of the exhaust.

I actually planned this one for a change, had a shot list and everything, LOL...

It was a custom-made job, we cut the standard exhaust and made it shorter, also removing the baffle. I don't have the bike any more.

My pleasure, such a great country to tour on a bike. I hope to return later this year.

I can't say it was a relaxed ride through there... not something I would usually do, and would advise against it purely from a security point of view... Next time taking the long way back home. Ride safe.

Awesome, I was there around lunchtime, flipping hot at about 43C... next time I want to go very early and catch the sunrise.

Correct, I use the MOVO UCMA-3 which works directly with purple panda or any TTRS type lav mic.

Thanks for the comment. It took two 1/2 days Cape Town to Zimbabwe.. First overnight stop at Mafikeng and second overnight stop in Francistown Botswana.

@@CapeBiker oh that great what is the petrol range of the bike on full tank before you need to refill

@@buthoeden7298 The XJR is thirsty when going over 140Kmph.. but I planned stops every 300km or 2 hrs.. Typical range is around 400km but it is only a 16L tank

Where did you see corruption? Sometimes its better to reserve you silly little opinion. Botswana is ranked the least corrupt country in Africa. May be I missed the corrupt incident.

I had no issues at all with the border or roadblocks... all good for me.
