This video shows the manufacturing process of an ICF block being moulded on a Hirsch 1450 Transfer Machine at DS Smith Foam Products manufacturing facility in Northampton. The video shows how metal wire ties are insert moulded to form an integral part of the finished moulding.

where can i have a custom item made ? i want a Grumman goose with with 8 to 9 foot wing span made as a hanging model for my room
You could potentially find a model maker who could CNC a Grumman Goose for you, I think it would be quite expensive though.
