Chuck had his own unique style and vocals, and he was on the crest of fame, he did everything and got into a style that was not his, he started writing like Judas Priest and took a squeaky vocalist, God stopped him and made him a legend for all time. Chuck is immortal, he is a genius.
People don't realize the impact Death had on the music scene in the late 80's early 90's. The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snoop Dogg helped fundraise for his cancer treatments, he inspired artists you would never guess. RIP to the Father of Death Metal.
I went to chucks grave one day bc I had found death and I literally couldn’t fathom what was in front of me and he was buried in my home town (where I lived at the time) and I just sat next to his grave and talked to him as if he was my friend and was alive but anyways thank u chuck for what you contributed to this world it won’t be forgotten and your legacy echos in time
What is it with so many people dying of brain tumors these days?I have lost my little bro and a good friend to this horrible cancer, they definitely need to find a cure😢
Im just so amazed to see this chill, handsome, down to earth, stoner guy become a fucking unstoppable demon train while massacring guitar and vocals on stage and in studio lol. Chuck is one in a trillion
MTV deleted most of a 1 hour interview. It is called the music industry / music business for a reason. I hate those POS so much. If only GoFundMe, Patreon and PayPal existed then.
Brother, you are still just as missed more than two decades after your passing. You left this world a better place with your legacy music, and it only seems to be growing in popularity. You got me and so many others through some really difficult times. Truly a musical prophet. May you Rest In Peace my metal brother.
Fiquei sabendo da banda e dessa cara agora. Olhei no Wikipedia um pouco sobre ele e espero que os médicos que não quiseram tratar dele (por ele não ter dinheiro) estejam no inferno
How sad to see Chuck in this situation, the guy was a legendary and genius musician. Death was already a big band at that time, how did he run out of money for his treatment? How unfair.
They never sold that many albums nor charted on the Billboard 200 except for their last album. None of them ever became close to being rich; just enough to live til next week.
@@roaming740that’s what I don’t understand. I read that korn, kid rock, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and some others all came together to auction off items to go towards his treatment like they couldn’t have just joined together to front the money themselves? It’s so sad…
Doctors care about money than life. Curing cancer than treating cancer would decrease the price by 99%. They get as much money out of you so they can get rich. Treating cancer was in the upper five figures in the year 2000! Chuck died because of negligence due to money which wasn't even his fault.
what's the story behind this video? it's literally the only footage and overall proof that this interview ever took place on the internet. did his family ask to never release it?
Goodby Chuck
Chuck... my son is named Charles because of you. He was born 20 years after you passed away but he will know who you are. Its a tragedy dying so young. 21 years later, thousands of humans still listening to his music everyday. I heard his voice so many times over the years I feel like I know him. Music never dies, Chuck soul will live forever. RIP
I wasn't even born when he died, yet I'm right here missing him. 💔

he gained weight before he died , i got all there cds
He didn’t gain weight, his face was swollen as a result of all the treatment he was receiving for the tumour he had.
@@jmoney318 i didnt know those treatments did that
I remember seeing in this on MTV in the late 90s. "What is Chuck Schuldiner doing on MTV News?"
Rest in peace wherever you are

мы помним тебя Чак 😭💔🥀
Fuck cancer.
it's so damn sad to see him die just because he couldn't afford a treatment
The American for-profit "health care" system was part of the problem.
He look quite fat in this vid.

Death is a masterpiece of musical talent. Top to bottom.
Would like to see the full interview. I wonder if it will get uploaded?
Apparently it is lost or deleted

why couldnt other musicians help him pay it off, like the millionaires at that time
