The Christmas Tree (Christmas special)
Gee, it sure would be fun if I could actually see the things you're talking about. Boring.
Hi, this is a podcast, but if you want visuals check our other History channel at www.youtube.com/@VeraHistoriaChannel (we will cover the Ubaid period there as well)
Good one!
More history content on YT is always a good thing. As far as ai narration goes, this is pretty good. I can listen to it, no problem. What I would focus on improving is the source material, ie., copy, or script. That is something you dont want sounding like an LLM but more like readings from good text and history books.
Ka !?!
Ka ruled only over Thinis which is a city-state, so not a true kingdom, therefore he is not a true king, more like an independent settlement chieftan.
@@History-Deep-DiveKa ruled over much more than just Thinis. His immediate predecessor, Iry-Hor ruled over Memphis (it already existed during his reign and was mentioned) which implies Iry-Hor owned a huge chunk of Lower Egypt. Ka most likely owned the same if not more land, so the majority of Egypt.
@real_yunicellular You are right, I was misled by the 'controversy' section on Wikipedia. It seems Iry-Hor was indeed rulling over a vast teritory, so he was a true king before Narmer. I corrected this video's title.
Defo AI :(
How do you know. I can almost hear it in his voice but the way they interact, inflect, I even heard a small stammer. Unreal if it is. I dontt doubt it, Im just curious how you can be so sure? I usually spot ai narrating right away but didnt here.
update: "Step into the past with the History Deep Dive Podcast, where two AI hosts bring history's most fascinating events to life through lively, " You guys nailed it. wow. I was hearing it clearly by the end, both in the copy and narration. There is so much great (eg Fall of Civilizations') history content on yt.
@@a_lucientes I’ve come across some apps before they can imitate human intonation so well, you can hear breathing swallowing between sentences everything, but once you know you can usually tell by the way they are interacting with each other
How is Narmer the "first king ever" when Mesopotamian civilization had existed for at least 1000 years before Egypt?
Yes, Mesopotamian civilization started first, but it only consisted of city-states (ruled by the settlement chieftan), not true kingdoms. Ancient Egypt was the very first polity with a centralized ruling structure that covered a large area with many settlements, therefore its ruler, the first king at 3173 BC. The first Mesopotamian king that had hegemony over a large territory was Enmebaragesi at 2750 BC, so it was not the first.
@@History-Deep-DiveThere might’ve been other kings or kingdoms before Narmer that were so far in the past we might’ve forgotten about them. However I have heard a pharaoh named Scorpion I might’ve potentially united Egypt before Narmer, but even if he did it was not a long unification.
@@real_yunicellular Agreed. Scorpion I ruled in Thinis and subdued Naqada, posibbly the hole of Upper Egypt (without Lower Egipt), but it is not certain.
@@History-Deep-Dive In Scorpions tomb there were mentions of Buto and Baset being penetrated on some plaques. That implies he ruled over the Nile Delta and if he did that he ruled over all of Lower Egypt. His kingdom probably didn’t last long because he seems to have failed to keep a lasting dynasty there, so Narmer later on unified the country.
@@real_yunicellular Thanks for the info, but I could not find a reliable source. Can you provide a link, so I can have a look?
This is good info but sounds like ai
It is ai
This feels like two AI hosts talking to each other hahahah
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for listening 😊
did you use A.I. to make this? Sound so much like feeding infomation into A.I. to it verbalizing a podcst. I'm not really complaining, just noticing. Also, the conversation is not as sparkling as an adtual interview. Imangine A.I. struggling to define"sparkling" in this example.... Anyway, I learned a lot, thank you.
Goblins next
We've already talked about goblins here: ruclips.net/video/GRsHBnhmBfM/видео.html
This topic reminds me of the argument : whats the difference between ogres and trolls. For me a lot of it comes down to how langues change through time, and what was meant in the original story. Just becuase the word in old french or german has that root part we derive ogre from. I meen look at how the consept of elves have changed. Used to be mischivas spirit, very much wat we could see a goblin being today. In my opinion in old tales elves, goblin or gnomes were interchangble
this is ai isn't it... not judging just asking
I keep on saying it: I don't believe this people. Just bad actors.
Is this meant for children?
This is a light and fun podcast, even though we try to keep it grounded in facts so one can learn something useful. It is meant for general audience, so that everyone can understand and enjoy it.
Viking never wore horned or winged helmets
This is what we say also at 5:13
Good
Thank you!
I really can’t tell if this is AI generated or real
Hi I’m The Time Machine I’ve been watching your channels video’s for quite some time now. And I have to say I do believe the devil is the personification of all evil. But NOT only do I believe the devil is the personification of all evil because I also believe that the devil actually exist. Because there are so much things going on in this world that are not only evil but they are extremely evil and because they are things that are too evil I have no one else to blame for all these problems except for the devil. Because I know people always have free will and they can make bad choices. But it makes sense that the devil exist because the evil things that people have done throughout history and even today are not just evil but also they are insane.
