I have never been able to find these on Spotify. They were on the Antioch Bible Church podcast on Apple Podcast. That is where we found them. But at one point they were removed, so we added them here. It seems they are now back on the Antioch podcast if you want to find them there. It was originally posted in 2019. Your verses do not dispute that we are free to be whatever God calls us to be.

Read Eph.2:21. Our identity in Christ fits us in the community (church) of Christ.

Hearing the voice of God clearly doesn't have a requirement just like salvation does not.

your comment is such deception. The people in the Bible did not even have a Bible. Thank God He spoke then. He still does. We need both.

God last spoke to us by His Son Jesus (Heb 1:1-2). Jesus spoke all that we needed know to the apostles who, through the power of the Holy Spirit, remembered everything that Jesus said (John 14:25-26). The apostles recorded in scripture all that Jesus said to them, and Peter tells us two times to remember what is recorded in scripture. (2 Peter 3) Scripture contains all that God has to say to us. There are no personal revelations. There is no extra-biblical revelation. God speaks only through scripture. How did God speak? Hebrews 1:1-2 - 1 “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world “ What did Jesus say? John 14:25-26 Jesus told the disciples - 25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance ALL that I have said to you.” Who teaches us what Jesus said? John17:20 20 Jesus praying to the Father said “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their (the apostles) word…” Where do we go to hear what God said? 2 Peter 3 - 3 This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. Are you born again, baptised and Spirit filled? If not, find someone who can help you. A whole new world will open up to you. God is live and we can hear His voice.

Jesus said “My sheep hear my voice “. He does speak through the Bible but He also promised to send the Comforter to all, not just the apostles so they could remember what He said

Not sure about unpopular, just not getting around as fast as you'd think, though I'm sure some of it would meet some resistance as it got around. But it all rings true to scripture and Jesus to me, just different and extremely exciting. I've listened to everything I could find by Jamie.

I was listening to this on a 1 1/2 hour road trip to work, I’ve never enjoyed a message as much as this one. I’d downloaded it but didn’t know who he was. I laughed, cried and praised God all the way though. Thanks and thanks again.
