Great video straight to the facts. I have a vitacii denali 50cc is it possi le to upgrade to vo faster
Can you please post a link to the exhaust.
Hi, I've got two Malaguti F15's. 2003, One 50cc the other 70cc. Both liquid cooled. I bought them with zero mileage recently. I've fitted polini variator, polini clutch springs and a wider, slightly longer belt. It now does 55mph even with a passenger. Only way to get higher top speed is to change the gearing to the rear wheel..which i won't be doing. The 70cc is next on the list to get running. Strangely the 70cc has the same dellorto 12 carburetor as the 50cc. Your video is great at highlighting the benefits of a bigger carburetor...even for the 50cc. Keep the great videos coming.. Cheers from the UK.
@overlandworld2253 thanks for watching and for the kind words. I did a build video of my malaguti f12 that led to great results. Top end on the setup of the malaguti in the video was a s6 racing cylinder polini 4 race exhaust. Stock gearing is quite tall on the malaguti so I was able to hit 74 mph, and others in the u.s have hit 80 mph with even more spicy cylinders and exhaust setups. But your mods will definitely work very well :) along with a polini cp 19 or 21 carb can also be a great upgrade for your 70cc malaguti.
@@X7rocks thanks for the advice 🙏
Is it pointless to try these mods on a 4 stroke scooter
In the description I mention this is for 2 stroke models.
@@X7rocks I know. I was asking if It was a good idea to try these same mods with a 4 stroke scooter
@yankee21320 if you're 150cc it these mods can benefit the engine specially the exhaust as they are restrictive. But you'll see more of a benefit from a larger bore in a 50cc engine, along with a variator and exhaust to try to get a little 4 stroke to be a bit more peppier than how they come stock.
Did you change jets in carb or did you leave that all stock??
Does it make the max speed better ? Or that won't change ?
@SpongeBobFunnyPants hello thanks for watching. Before the bike would only do around 41 to 43 mph. After the mods and especially after the exhaust, I was able to hit 54 mph at 10k rpms
@@X7rocks thx
Great build! What kind of RPM are you seeing during shift and what’s your peak recorded RPM? Stock crank holding up?
@GotThrottles from initial launch to when it shifts around 50 it will go from 13200 to 12900 (less power at that rpm) it's happiest in the 13.2 to 13.5 range, highest I've seen was hitting over 70 with room to with 13,600 and climbing. Thanks for watching I'll be doing an update on another project I'll hope you'll all enjoy and continue fine tuning the zuma
@@X7rocks Looking forward to it. I have basically the same bike, Bugeye 70cc kit, Yasuni pipe, TOP variator and other components to make it work. I'm concerned the stock Yamaha crankshaft can't take those higher RPM's for long so I've added weights to limit it to 10,000 rpm during acceleration but I admit it feels like it makes more power in the 11-13k rpm range. So i either pray the crank holds, or give up and buy an aftermarket crank when it does. I will make a Dragy video with mine. How is your crank holding up?
@GotThrottles so far so good! Though there is much more power possible with the crank being swapped. I have one fun project for a drag engine being handled at the moment and will try to upload that and pick up a crank for the current engine as it should lead to good results with more air and fuel being directly funneled into the cylinder. This is the 2nd zuma engine I've had to handle over 10k rpm. Though it can last (had it last 7k miles before) and was really for it to handle the power. I do still recommend it for more higher end setups. For sports setups you're definitely good to go for a while.
Yes you can put even a malossi variator on gy6
@sajmirbekteshi9113 always good to get more info on it. Will have to try it out. More gy6 content will come soon Just gathering parts for 4 separate builds can cause time delays in uploads.
With everything you did, I would've put In a full circle crank.
@tjjohnston7920 while the benefit of more case pressure being forced into the cylinder would he worthwhile. This is to see how an engine with over 7k miles can handle the cylinder and exhaust combo. A full circle crank is next along with porting the engine carter's. Which show a good result on the malaguti.
Bro what kitt have you poot on it
@@sajmirbekteshi9113 no big bore. Just fine tuning the stock cylinder without taking it apart.
Bro doo i need bigger crancshaft if i upgrade from 50cc lets say 120cc or 150cc

What setting is your power jet set at ? I’m having a bog at full throttle
My power jet is disconnected. They work better with vacuum being made prior to the throttle slide. Since I used a velocity stack it wasn't having that vacuum needed to activate it. Your main throttle bog may be too small or a main jet.
What is the name of the inner rotor as I'm currently looking for one to fit my mbk nitro 100 and I belive the nitro amd aerox are basically the same bike!
Nitro 100 and aerox 100 are the dame. You'd need an mvt ignition for a 16mm flywheel shaft. Usually found for cpi engines or Chinese engines.
@@X7rocks I got it recently for 250 quid which I couldn't say no too amd I have to admit I am loving it haha so any mvt ignition 16mm will fit? I want her to be a savage! What was the difference like ie acceleration amd top speed brp?
@colerobinson2628 acceleration was nuts with the engine as it already had good torque. If I wasn't careful I could easily lift the front endnof this otherwise heavy scoog model. I liked it so much I even got a spare 16mm one for a 90cc can am engine swap for my cpi
@@X7rocks it'll fit the stock shaft amd all that shit then?
@colerobinson2628 along as it's the 16mm rotor. If not you can purchase the 16mm rotor to slide to the shaft on the flywheel side of the engine.
What cylinder ?
Charmo/ taida liquid cooled 56mm cylinder.
Hey, sick build. I am looking to do an upgraded carb on mine. did you run into any issues with space with the storage box? Thanks
It can touch the bottom of the seat container, but that's the most of an issue I've had. Just need to Make sure the throttle cable as a short 90 degree fitting for the carb will fit nicely.
...I am totally not looking for an older zuma now. Nope. Not this guy.

I like how you posted the links where you bought these upgrades in your description 👍🏻
Exhaust wasn't available anymore so I did have to remove the link. Carburetor can be found on Amazon under maikuni along with a single throttle cable from nibbi.
Can you link the parts you used? There isn’t enough detail to chase down the parts, particularly the exhaust upgrade
Stage 6 sport pro variator kit. Malossi delta clutch on yellow sport springs. And malossi drive face These can be found at scootertuning.ca for your specific model. (Though if you search for polini 107mm clutch on ebay you'll find the best deal for a performance adjustable clutch for under 60 dollars I'm even gonna order a second one cause i like it so much) Exhaust is a top performance leovince zx exhaust I can't link it as they're found in europe, most likely on ebay. But you can use a yasuni z or r to get similar results. Next vid will be upgrading to a big bore kit and the results after.
Thanks!!
Oh yeah.
It's cool seeing the two stroke content. I've been looking at a 2016 chinarelli and I'm really tempted to pick it up.
I'd say give it a shot :) the bonus about Chinarelli is they offer taller gearing, an since you build them with quality parts you're more than likely to have great mileage with the performance you get for them. I will be showing how mods on an air-cooled zuma like a big bore and pipe can increase overall performance and, of course, showing before and after :). Also, thanks for watching. It means a lot.
Plz help I upgraded to 11 pole stator, bb kit it turned and idled for a good 10 mins I went to upgrade the cvt to stop the clutch from engaging alone and now it won’t start.
Was timing set properly for the bike?
Can you send me the website in the shock?
Hello thanks for watching. But which shock are you referring to?
Thanks for the video. I recently upgraded a bunch to my 05 BWS. Kinda stopped due to life. Still needs to be tuned.
There's always time to get to it later. No need to rush perfection 😀
I love this! i've been looking at ways to get a little more low end takeoff out of my zuma without doing a lot of stuff to it. it actually works correctly though so i don't wanna do a lot to it lol this'll be fun to watch though!
Thanks for watching! For lowend torque there are lots of great options available. Hopefully my update is soon as I am waiting for some parts to arrive from germany.
@@X7rocksnice! Can't wait to see what you're gonna get up to on this one!
Will the under seat storage fit a full face helmet?
Yep sure will :) with some spare room as well.
Nice!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Man, that is some fine and direct to the point video, the fact that you show how to take out and install is also greatly appreciated... I have me a 2 stroke and currently looking to mod it in the exact same fashion when I came upon your video, subscribed, bless you thanks!
Thank you so much for the kind words and taking the time to watch. I find it hard to make videos so I figured I'd make a video on some modifications I feel most people can handle and still have that factory reliability. And data showing evidence of gains 😀
So is 51-52 mph on that bike *really* all that comfortable? lol great video! I don't currently have a 2 stroke but this is great info for when i do find one.
She's got nice sized tires that feels comfy at those speeds. And take any bumps on the road real smoothly. I'm sure I can hit mid 50s with a bit more stretch on the road but for a stock 50 cylinder she pulls nicely 😀 plus the benefit of not being stuck at 38 mph not having traffic get stuck behind me 😅 thats the worst feeling. But thanks for the comment and view it means a lot to a small player like me. When you snag a 2t bike like say a zuma. I will say riding into the 50s and even 60s feels comfortable as they have such a large tire fitment that it almost feels like a Cadillac riding down the roads at those speeds 😀
@@X7rocks i actually have a 2019 zuma that i absolutely love. and i totally get what you mean about the tires. i also feel that whole feeling bad about people getting stuck behind me at 38 (which is about when it starts pinging the rev limiter like an encyclopedia salesman knocking on your door who knows you're home even though you're hiding). and dude! you're putting out great content! it's a pleasure to watch and i'm always happy when i see you have a new vid pop up in my notifications!
@fthrgasp your compliments mean a lot. I try not to go too crazy on builds cause I like to do builds that regular people can do and benefit from and show what mods work and what doesn't work. I guess it's very basic stuff but I'm a simple kinda person 😅 though If you're in the market for another scoot. I'd highly recommend the 2008 to 2011 zuma. They have higher gearing than earlier zumas. (One negative is the throttle cam is limited) but can be modified to allow full throttle with these mods helping them out even further 😀
@@X7rocks ya know, i've seen a few of those around and thought about it, but the trick is finding one that the owner isn't really proud of ($$$), or hasn't been dropped repeatedly. but knowing the range to look for is helpful thank you! it's kinda got me thinking about things i can do to my current zuma to get a little more out of it without going wild with it. suggestions on that?
@fthrgasp if I remember the zuma 4 stroke engine can get a big bore kit and a cvt and clutch kit. But I do recall the big bore being quite pricey :( but if you can remove the limiter it should help you get to the mid 40s. With cvt upgrades I can see a few more mph as well. I've seen a few 2 stroke swapped but that is gonna be quite a time consuming project while you have a perfectly good engine to upgrade while you can. Which year is your model?
happy New Year!
Happy new year bud!
Great video! Love the content. What make/model is the bike in the video?
Thanks for watching 😊 it is a Taiwanese bike called a cpi oliver city, they come with a very common/ popular minarelli style engine. Best part is these mods will fit pretty much any minarelli engine, and equivalent modifications will work very well on other scooters as well :)
Results this far are great and I appreciate your content, but you should tag some links for the all of the aftermarket mods…Again this is a badass setup🔥
Thanks for Watching and commenting. I have an update coming up of what I've done engine wise to the scooter.
How did you do with the title process. I’m wanting to order one but I don’t know anything about the paper side of things to make sure it’s legal
Was XPRo easy to work with on the papers ? Is there a standard procedure to receive the paperwork from most companies?
Yes it was simple registration as a motorcycle in the state of florida.
Holy crap...why did this just show up on my feed? thanks youtube. Also, where did you get that godly sounding exhaust and how many children did you have to hand over for it? That may be the best sounding scooter exhaust i've ever heard lol
Thanks your kind words mean a lot.. It's an istunt exhaust from the jungle store (amazon). It was about 168 lost souls . Sadly I'm not seeing it available on the jungle store at the moment.
@@X7rocks yeah, i'm gonna have to look for that one. and honestly, my only complaint about your videos is that they're not longer!
@fthrgasp sadly I don't know how to really pan out my times for videos. I think in my first of the series, I did manage it very well. But when it comes to videos like this, panning it out can be kinda difficult. But I'll give that a shot in the next video as I reach almost 750 miles :)
@@X7rocks yeah i totally get how trying to time videos is a pain, i've dealt with a bit of that too. and hell yeah(!!!) on 750 that's great!
@fthrgasp she's been reliable so far with the items I mentioned would increase longevity. So here's to hoping to more improvements :). I do have something special in the works and hope it can help people as well with their gy6 150 bikes.
Don't think ur wheel Shou be spinning on idle
Thanks for watching, as stated in the video this was due to a failing clutch spring and has been swapped out and did a comparison of an Amazon clutch to a polini adjustable clutch.
Where did you get that exhaust?
Can you put a 190cc on it big bore what's the highest?
You can add a 63mm bore but that requires boring the cases out. Then you can add a stroker to make it to 200cc for an A case gy6. The B blocks can go up to 232cc.
@@X7rocks rolling wrench? U watch he's videos?

@@X7rocks yea I hear that a lot he does give good tips tho the guy just trynna live lol
@Lil_eee exactly which is why I'm not gonna bash him for making a living and doing what he loves. Though I'd love to provide the scooter community with options. Hopefully with bolt on 180cc b block engines :) but we'll see how this can turn out if there's enough support.
How much did it cost? It honestly really pepped it up a bunch
Thanks for the video! I have a new X-Pro X-19, Zuma clone, like yours. I'm going to do the Taida 171cc kit soon. Head and cylinder. I was planning out taking the entire engine out though. How difficult was it to time the cam while in? When i adjusted my valves it seemed like getting the cam timing would be a bit difficult. What cam did you use? It seemed to really wake up your scooter. I like the wide band. Are you running the stock 8 pole stator still? Congrats on your build!
I did a smaller flywheel. As for cam timing once you release the tensioner it makes it very easy to remove and install.
Are you in the us? Did they sell that here? I’ve been looking to buy a cool rare 2 stroke here. I found a Derbi for sale but the guy never answers my messages on marketplace. How much you pay for the Malaguti?

It's an ncy 61mm 171cc kit. The head itself was found from gy6parts store on ebay and used a smaller combustion chamber for more compression.
Well I think I would want to get the head like he had on the in the video with the bigger ports I guess that's what he was talkin about right
Do you know maybe about what that the whole kit would cost from n c y?
nice results 🙂
What's the downside on the smaller pulley?
None really as far as performance goes. But charging wise it doesn't give the same charge at idle as it is a smaller stator than the factory one. But while riding, the charge remains the same as stock.
