I had a thought on how it might be possible to clean that hard to reach area in the dispenser drum. What about using a Waterpik cordless flosser? They shoot a small strong stream of pulsing water designed to clean the small spaces in between teeth. Amazon has them for about $35. I know it’s an investment, but it might work. Don’t know if anyone else thought of this. Hope this helps. 😊

Add 1/4 tsp of Guar Gum to your mix... It will make it more like a Slurpee texture. It will not affect the taste. Enjoy.

That's crazy! When you think of Ninja products you normally think the product is high end, I know the price tag is high end. They might have done that to create seal, they could have made a removable (washable) silicone seal. Also, I agree they should make one with a removable seal and send it out to everyone who has already purchased the Ninja Slushie. Anyway thank you for pointing this out I was going to buy one, but I will wait for them to redesign that part.

NINJA has done it again! THEY MADE A PART THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN AND TRAPS FOOD/DRINK/BIOLOGICAL MATTER IN THE "VESSEL". There is a 1/8" or larger folded edge lip on the bottom half of the Large Opening. There is a gap of slightly less than the thickness of a piece of paper, THAT COLLECTS JUICE, SODA, SUGAR, SOAP, RINSE WATER, ETC. And you can not rinse it out. You cannot Soak it out. If you attempt to use soapy water, the soapy water gets trapped in the lip. I have tried soaking this, using high pressure water to rinse or force it out. You would not know this lip is even there if while I was drying it there was Bright Red Smoothie residue trapped in it. Brings back memories of the Creamie Lid. Why there's even a need for a LIP WITH A GAP I HAVE NO IDEA. The top half of the opening is solid plastic. So it's not a washer or seal. Anyone that needs to see proof. Contact me and I will send photos.
