bo6 probably the best cod thats dropped recently, i fw the older games alot more the microtransactions in 6 are hella stupid but its the consumers fault, any match u enter 10 times out of 10 your gonna see someone using a custom skin or gun they paid upwards of 20 bucks for cod points to purchase. its not about old vs new games, if we want this shit to change we need to stop paying into shit like that idc how “badass” that 20 dollar skin looks it aint worth half of that😂

Now money is the only motivation, it's sucks. I first seen the shift when good apps were $2, then changed to free to play with micro transactions. I haven't played a phone game for a decade.

I took a break from COD in 2013 ending with Ghosts because I just felt tired of playing shooter games. It was a good idea doing that in hindsight because it saved me from all that buying content BS in the CODs that came after Ghosts. But I got back into COD in 2020 with Cold War, loved it and i immediately noticed how different it was compared to the OG titles i played. I haven’t played the new MWs but I’ve always been a fan of Black Ops series, I got BO6 and I’m having fun but despite all the passes and contents in the game I’ve never bought anything from COD except the game title. Never bought anything in Cold War either i didn’t even buy DLC packs in the OG titles. There’s nothing wrong with buying the game but buying these useless bundles in the game is dumb and it’s only giving these developers more dumb ideas for future bundles to sell. If we stop buying they won’t create them anymore.

I really don’t understand the complaining. A lot of you probably didn’t pick up a shooter Ina while and thought it’d be a cakewalk. I started on COD4 when I was 10-11 years old and I’m still going hard on BO6 wit a 2.35kd lol(which I worked back up from a 1.6 after hopping on for the first time in a long time) the movement isn’t anywhere near as bad as people make it out to be and I find it hella useful. Some of these ppl are giving u good advice and some are not but I would say in simple terms bro work on your movement and watch videos on spawns and try to learn to really read your mini map once u learn spawns it will stop u from being shot in the back and you will always have a better idea of where your enemy is coming from

if your getting low sr, the game is telling you thats your peak, low sr in a rank is the game saying your that's current rank skill as a iridescent player, advice i can give to become unhardstuck and improve as a player fast is focusing on the little things you could improve on as a player 1. always be aware of the meta classes like meta guns, attachments and perks, if your not using whats meta and what everyone is using then youll be behind and being behind will show in every engagement against good players using meta 2. you can tell how good a player is mechanically, meaning if you see a bronze player that isnt competitive and doesnt play ranked but has really good movement and aim you could tell mechanically he could be diamond, if your not mechanically good with the basics like movement and aim you'll struggle to reach diamond because up to diamond its all about basic mechanics and after diamond like diamond and up its more than mechanics its mechanics + positioning 3. watching the call of duty league and being aware of player roles could be a big help, in every single ranked game you play each player is always assigned to 1 of 4 roles, in the competitive the 4 main roles are main ar, flex ar, slayer and obj. each team needs a player on these 4 roles, if someone isnt playing their role then that team will lose and struggle, always be aware of what role you can play and should be playing, and dont be afraid to switch it up 4. playing competitive is all mental and having good mental is the easiest and most important part in competitive, if your mental is bad, you will find it extremely hard to perform well consistently and when you play with friends or a 4stack, if you have bad mental, people will find it hard to play with you and would most likely 10/10 rather play with someone with a good mentality to win. if anyone were to follow these 4 advices with pure dedication to the heart you will see a huge improvements in a month, you could easily go from gold to diamond/crimson, its all up to you and how much time you put in, nothing wrong with having fun and not taking it serious and having fun and taking it serious, in both situations its very important to just have fun even when its hard to and not take the game too serious because its never the end of the world. key takeaways to summarize it up 1. follow the meta always. 2. focus on being mechanically good with movement and aim first after that focus on positioning, teamwork and communication. 3. watch the cdl just have 1 fav team to watch, dont have to watch all the teams of every game, and be aware of team roles of your fav team and be aware of your role that you usually play and should be playing, never be afraid to switch it up, every game is different so you need to be adaptable. 4. have good mental, focus on what you can control, let go of what you cant control and most importantly have fun. last one as a bonus, it is possible to solo que and win but as a solo que player you gotta be aware of your role in the match it always changes and its so much easier to have a 4stack, when you 4stack and your aware of your role and your team roles, and your playing with 3 good players you'll experience effortless win streaks especially in lower ranks, its much needed in higher ranks since its harder but its not impossible. lastly have a goal that drives you for example it could be to "hit diamond in 1 month" something thats possible for you that will drive you to keep going.

Man I’m hard stuck Gold 3 I was 50 SR from Platinum 1 and I go on a 8 game loss streak haven’t played the game since my teammates are bad and there Golds I play against Platinums stacked 4 it’s so unbalanced.
