U probably know both bass players perfectly, but as he sais at the beggining he drank from the most perfect technics of the bass line compositions, so you see james brown to learn and improve the start, he carries on with slap and sais jaco taugh him something completly different and out of the bass

But he took something out of him, which means that joco influenced on vic, while playing together too, but he carried out a completly personal and different style, apreciated by every trully bass player

I used not be really big on Victor Wooten, but as I progressed in my playing, this man is a giant inspiration for me. The things he says blow my mind.
