i was 8yrs old when we moved into maraenui i remember the park and the ship there had jungle bars we played on it all the time we lived down Percy Spillier at number 11 i google mapped it and all the two-story houses in my block were gone it's definitely changed a lot i live in Christchurch now i might go up there someday soon my little sister moved back there I'll do a tour of the east coast again it's been decades but it will be worth the trip.
